The Global Gag Rule is a policy that prevents all foreign organizations receiving US global health aid from providing abortion services, referrals, or information -- even if they use non-US funds to do so. This policy has devastating and widespread effects, from cutting off access to contraceptives to limiting HIV/AIDS counseling and maternal health care.

In this video we made for the International Women's Health Coalition, women's health advocates around the world say it's time for US policymakers to pass the Global HER Act to permanently end the Global Gag Rule.

Abortion was legalized in Argentina today, thanks to the work of women across generations that fought for their reproductive rights. This is a film we made last year that portrays one of the leaders of this movement, Marta Alanis.
