“What’s in the Pocket?” Wednesday

1979 Wurlitzer 200

This is probably my favorite electric piano sound ever. There’s such a raw grittiness in the tone due to it using hammers to hit steel reeds. You can really dig into it while playing to produce the iconic growl for which it’s famous.
