Hey guys, Ryan here.
So we’ve discussed it and we’ve actually decided to play the rest of Spider-Man 2 on our own off stream. While we’ve enjoyed the game and have enjoyed playing it for you guys, we’ve found the 4-5 hour long streams really take a LOT out of us mentally and has left us extremely exhausted afterwards. Hoping all of you are understanding and have a fantastical day!

Greeting Fellow Godly Geeks! This is Ryanimaniac here with a few updates on where we’ve been!

And yes, I know it sucks its ANOTHER update post but this is where we currently are 🙃 HOPEFULLY this will be the last update post for a while

-Me and AB have just recently moved into a new apartment where we have more of our own creative free space to do stuff AND better internet to boot which will hopefully provide much more room for us to post regular content!

-AB has recently had surgery on her shoulder, specifically her bicep tendon, and is currently recovering from it. She tore it a few years ago and it got better with physical therapy, but it recently starting getting bad again so they had to go in to fix it to stop the pain she was experiencing. She is expected to be back to fully recovered in about 3 months so she’ll be all better by the holidays!

And finally the main topic I wished to let you in on

-During this time we’ve been away, between all the hectic life stuff and adulting, AB and I have been doing a lot of thinking and consideration of Godly Geeks and what we want the channel to be. We realized the current format limited us in a lot of ways creatively so we intend fo branch out a bit in what we make content wise. We plan on making a video by the end of the year to better explain some of the thoughts we’ve had, but to summarize, we wanna try to get back into doing skits and other one off videos rather than just focus on gaming like we have been. This doesn’t mean we entirely wanna rule our gaming as we may do playthrough from time to time as well as try to stream more often now that we have better WiFi, it just won’t be a main focus as it has been. We’ll give more updates later down the line, but we’ve been thinking a LOT and we think you all will enjoy what we have in store for GGS!

However, since we are still currently lacking a computer for editing and such as well as AB recovering, we will likely not have a lot coming out the remainder of this year. Rest assured though, we intend to spend the time we aren’t making videos figuring out what kind of videos we will be making going forward

Sorry it’s been so long since you’ve heard from us. We thought we were getting back on a roll when we started doing movie reviews but life threw us a few more curveballs that prevented us from getting stuff out like we wanted. But we don’t wanna give up on Godly Geeks as we truly believe we can make it into something special with time and effort

Thank you so much for reading. I can’t guarantee for sure when we will have a new video out, but we are planning on trying to stream for Halloween if everything works out

Hey guys, Ryanimaniac here

And yeah, it’s been a while. AGAIN 🙃

Apologies once again for the lack of updates. Every time we think we are getting things back on track, life likes to throw us a whirlwind and send the house of cards tumbling down

I’m here to give a few major updates on stuff that’s been going on since the last post

1. It turns out when our apartment flooded a few months back that we developed a mold issue and had to move in with AB’s parents so we’ve still very much been getting used to that dynamic while also trying to get everything moved out of the apartment before the lease ends due to the leasing office doing very little to fix the problem

2. When we moved over to AB’s parents house, our desktop computer just randomly died on us and refuses to power on anymore so we have been without a computer for editing. We are planning on getting a new computer soon for AB to have for when she starts school in January, but we likely won’t have it until the end of the month at least

3. AB’s Grandmother passed away after her family caught COVID despite their every attempt to prevent her from catching it. Thoughts and prayers are still going to her and her family as they process her passing

4. Good news, me and AB finally had our big wedding that we had planned. Went off with very little issue and had a fun week at Universal Studios Orlando for the honeymoon (AB went for the first time and really enjoyed it!)

5. Around the tail end of the honeymoon and after coming home, AB started feeling very sick. Turns out, we both tested positive for COVID so we ended up having to spend the week after the honeymoon quarantined till we got better. We are both doing alright as it’s now day 6 of quarantine and as of now, it just feels like a cold, though AB has a nasty cough on her end. Not sure exactly where we caught it from but the news of the new Omnicron variant started coming out after we were in Orlando so we think it may have been that

I wanna just formally apologize for just be general lack of content over the course of the year. 2021 has been a year of struggle and side tracks for us. We’ve had to deal with a lot of issues in our personal lives that unfortunately have met having to put GGS on the sidelines. We had MANY plans for stuff we wanted to do this year for the channel to finally start getting regular content out but life has just not been that generous to us. We desperately wanted to review all the Spider-Man films prior to the release of No Way Home but with us suddenly having to move out and get readjusted while dealing with previous issues, it just wasn’t something we could likely do.

I can’t say for certain when we’ll get back to regular content though. Like I mentioned above, AB will be starting school in January so that will take top priority. We have also been doing much discussion lately about trying to move away from our home town which is another reason we moved out of the apartment so we could save money. We just ask for a lot of prayer for the both of us as life has been EXTREMELY hectic and insane over the last few months. We just ask that we can start getting everything sorted out so that we can get things on track for where God wants us to go from here

Alright so this is gonna sound crazy……..but this actually doesn’t look that bad? I mean it’s definitely still a kids movie so i doubt it’s gonna be anything incredible, but there’s no cringey lines or modern pop culture references. The other day at work I found this very interesting pineapple. The top was huge but the bottom was very small. And for some reason I just found it funny. But it also made me think about perspective. In the group of pineapples this one looked the best from the top but once it was pulled out from the group I found it to be very small. It was still a good pineapple but just not enough for a fruit bowl. It made me realize that just because something looks amazing or perfect doesn’t mean that’s going to be true. Don’t judge things on what you can just see or what you have heard but discover the truth for yourself. Because like a song says “everything is not what it seems”.
