It’s official. Announced earlier today by @topps , they will be bringing in more Non-Sport to their lineup in 2025. The deal with Disney, which begins in Q1, will add Disney, Marvel and Pixar to the mix which already had had Star Wars. Included in the press release was an announcement of the first set, Finest X-Men ‘97. @toppsdigital had already been doing cards on the digital side for Disney and Marvel through the Collect apps as well as Star Wars ans MLB. There had been some questions by myself whether after the sale of Topps to Fanatics what their aims on non-sport would be, but this announcement really makes it clear. This is a developing story and of course there is much more to this and it’s impact on the hobby. Breaking open a recently purchased. @unlimitedffg Starter set. Shadows of the Galaxy is the second set release from @fantasyflightgames and features many characters and aspects from #themandalorian - although I have put together my own set of cards and accessories, the starter set had many exclusive cards tcgplayer.com had these for way less than retail and I got this for not even 20 bucks. Was kinda amazing to be so close and to see and hear how overwhelmed Ewan was with the audience and experience of #starwarscelebration - finally was able to trim this vid down to just part of his time on the Live stage.
Great dinner at a terrific local pizza place with my good friend Steve from @star_wars__topps_cards and afterwards we went down to the #starwarscelebration entrance with Greg from @eyeoncanon - took some pics and then let Steve open the first Series 3 Swag Pack at Celebration. Great night hanging with friends to cap off a great day with my Star Wars Family.
