先週で無事にshichimimagazineのイベントは終了致しました。

Announcing our very first gallery event “Framing” by shichimi magazine.

Shichimi magazine, which was launched in New York this May, is a food magazine that is made with Japanese creators of various genres that we respect so much.
We want to create a publication that have quality to it that we feel like we would want to hold on to it forever.
Art director and spent these two years discussing, going back and forth countless times about how the magazine could be put together in the best way possible. This is a food magazine, a cookbook and an art book all at the same time. Every page is separated and put into a box, and is designed to be upcycled as an art piece for everyday life.
In this gallery “Framing”, space designed by yana ( + ), sound designed by .tatsuta , fashion designed by mikiaizawa , etc, all have collaborated to express food from multiple angles.
We hope that you will have an experience that will broadened your perspectives (frame) on the foods they see in your daily lives.
At the venue, a collaboration tote bag with will be sold, and those who purchase the magazine on the first day (Oct. 8th) will receive it in a original “cloth frame” also made by . This will be a a first-come, first-served basis.
