In 2005, the independent film company CandlelightCinema, headed by Chris Savage, emerged on the scene with it's first project "The Attack of the Peanut". A couple of small projects later it went on a hiatus, later resurfacing in 2014 with the short film "The Secret Seekers". After it's 2015 project "Killer Kumquats From Outer Space" was released, the company announced it was merging with Savage's new company TangentFilm.
