Romantic Culture — Italy🇮🇹 VS. America🇺🇸
This guy told me that Jews have a “diabolical agenda” to bring “witchcraft” and “child sacrifice” to the US. Obviously he’s a nutbag. He doesn’t appear to be affiliated at all with Columbia University.
But HERE’s the significance of his presence:
WHY does a guy like that come to Columbia? What is it about what’s going on at this university where someone like this thinks it will be a hospitable place for him to park outfront and spew his hatred?
Why is it that, in my three hours observing him and others on the sidewalk, not a single Columbia student challenged him? Why did several students walking by pump their fists in support?
Finally, can you imagine if he substituted the word “Jews” for “black people” / “gay people” / “trans people” / “immigrants”?
I have a feeling that then he’d face some resistance.
@Columbia told student protesters inside campus if they don’t clear out of their encampments by 2pm EST today, they’ll face suspension. Here’s what was going on outside of Columbia’s gates. Stay tuned.
