Livid Squid originally launched in 2013 and published three issues before going on hiatus in the summer of 2014. Now, we're on our way back, and we're going to be better than ever (we think)! Our new website will launch in April, 2015, and will feature a new blog, interviews, and the very best works of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, art, and photography that we can get our tentacles on! We favor work that reveals something about the human condition—work that is not afraid to sink into the dark places of the human experience in order to reveal a great truth, emotion, or epiphany about life. We are most interested in the postmodern and sublime, but we encourage writers of all tastes and genres to submit their most polished work.
