If there is one thing our country will never agree on its guns… There was a big NRA conference in Downtown Houston this weekend. Protestors went outside of the venue to give conference goers a piece of their mind, and some of the attendees of the conference bit back.
PS: not a political post, I’m just a guy with a camera sharing some key moments.

In Seattle, the sun isn’t expected to fully come out till July. Every now and then it’ll make a special guest appearance in May or June. When it does happen the number one priority is to get out there and absorb as many rays as possible, even if that means standing outside in 50 degree weather with no shirt on 😊🌞

Last night at the fights, went as a coach but had my camera on me… caught this sequence of kicking his opponent with those tree trunks he calls legs, his teammate .bekteshi urging him to keep up the pressure in the next photo, and working her magic catching all the action with her fancy new camera 📸

Forgot to mention, earlier this summer Camila convinced me to go camping… like legit sleeping outside in a tent with animals ready to eat my black ass type of camping…. Don’t let the smile from the second image fool you, i ain’t doing this ever again lol

I envy the simplicity of being a kid… my daughter recently lost a tooth and she gets a kick out of making funny faces to show it off. Even when i take out my nice camera to take a “good” picture, she insists on making these faces…. But who’s to say that this isn’t a good picture? A good picture brings you back to a moment in time, doing things you wouldn’t normally do in a photo makes it easier to bring back the memories. Now every time i look at this picture I’ll be able to go right back to that moment, and reflect on all the fun we had that day all because she decided to to pose for a “good” picture her own way. Thanks Angie 😁

No matter how far i get in my career, no matter where i end up, i always find myself gravitating back to the hood. It’s where i feel the most comfortable. Interacting with the people there keep me grounded. Here are a few snaps of my son getting a haircut out in the streets of Central District. The barber we met has to set up outdoors with his mirror now that he can no longer afford a shop due to gentrification and rising rent costs. A lot of major cities are pushing black ppl out and it’s really sad to see, i try to spend my dollars on black businesses in the inner cities but i wish i could do more to help support and preserve the culture 😢
