For me there is so many incredible reasons to shop second hand but one of my main ones is the ability to find items you love that is 100% your style without worrying that maybe high street trends aren’t your thing or your style.

My wardrobe has never been better lately because I’ve been rummaging so much and been picking up some great items for amazing prices.

It’s my mission to really wear my finds a lot more and feel great styling them up ❤️

This time last week I was in a Dior Sauvage aroma filled beach club dancing my legs off and burning my sins in the fire for San Juan at 💃🏼

This week I’m at home contemplating putting the heating on, eating banana and cinnamon on toast watching friends 😂

I’m equally as happy but I’m also running out of holiday pics to share 😂🥹

I’ve talked a lot about how this year was going to be all about me and my relationship with myself … well I’m embracing everything lately!

When I was in my teens I loved my legs and I mean loved them I always wore short dresses and skirts to show off my little cotton thread legs my nickname was spaghetti legs at school at the time I hated it but I laugh about it now 😂 anyway in 2013 I sadly got diagnosed with skin cancer and ended up finding out I had 2 malignant melanomas on my leg and after 3 huge operations and losing a chunk from my leg I hated my legs and any side on pics!

To be honest only 2 people since then have commented on it both quite rude comments … so really no can see it but me and those two weapons who mentioned it 😂😂

But …. In Marbs I whipped out the legs and the scars and loved it! Operation Jen loves Jen is absolutely flying ❤️

Can’t believe I forgot to mention that my incredible friends also chauffeured me around the local charity shops for a rummage, then a pina colada 🍹 is that the perfect day or what ?😂

I was soooo impressed with the Charity Shops in Marbella they were like boutiques stocked with the most amazing brands and incredible items in amazing condition they even had some handmade hats and bags.

I almost felt like I wished I came with an empty suitcase I could have bought so much!

I visited and the volunteers in all 3 shops where so lovely and the pricing was EXCELLENT!

I know there is so many more I didn’t get to visit but I will absolutely be going back and I’m encouraging anyone who’s going there this summer to pop in for a rummage and I also recommend a Pina Colada afterwards too 😂

Just about to hop onto my flight back to sunny Cheshire so thought I’d make my last post from Marbella about these two 🤩

You have no idea what Vicky and Gaz have done for me since September last year but in a nutshell they kinda saved me alongside listening to 20 min voice-notes of me crying and sending me 30 minute ones back, they’ve listened to me every day since and I don’t think they realise the part they played in me coming back to life after such a bad few months.

To then be invited to come and stay with them at their home in Marbella it has been amazing, I’ve spent years not feeling loved and you’ve just made me feel so loved in just 4 days, you’ve made me cry laughing, took me to some beautiful places, fed me up for my migraines and also included me into your Spanish family life.

I just adore you both so much and not to forget your babies Bella and Bear who’ve also made me feel very special. I love you both and I’m so grateful for the last few days and the last few months.

COSTA DEL THERAPY FOREVER!

Soppy post incoming …. You know I love the cheese 😂

I have always surrounded myself with people that LAUGH! I don’t mean giggle I mean LAUGH like really laugh… and you here on Instagram have made me laugh so much this last week.

I cry when I laugh which I used to hate but I like it now it’s my thing 🥹 anyway I’ve shared some funny things recently and even the story of me being grassed on honestly your replies and comments have made me howl, someone said “these people open an orange in their pocket so that don’t have to share a slice” I’ve laughed for days 😂

We’ve laughed at that hat I didn’t buy, me looking like pork on the butchers counter in the current swimsuit ranges, Joni’s tantrum’s and so much more.

I know it’s about charity shopping here but honestly I just love you all and the fact we can laugh together … laughing is my number one favourite thing to do and I always say when I die make memes about me 😂😂😂😂 LAUGH!!!

Anyway I’m not dying or dead but just saying … let’s keep laughing forever and please keep making me laugh too!

Last week I spent the day with in Worthing.

I visited the greenhouse again and saw the content corner which was AMAZING 🤩 then we went onto to Portland Road where I cut the ribbon at the new children’s shop the we visited Warwick Street and ended in the most incredible children’s charity shop I’ve ever seen Rowlands road where they had every single toy you could ever imagine even a Teddy room 😍 🧸

I love working with they are such a forward thinking charity when it comes to the retail side but also they really do love what they do and the reason they do it.

As Worthings leading Social care charity they are doing wonderful things helping reduce social isolation as well as supporting adults and children living with learning disabilities and people living with dementia.

I love being able to support charities like this and I left with a huge haul that’s going to take a 3 part video to show you what I got 😂

Thank you the team at Guild Care for always making me feel so special and part of the team.

Part 1 is coming this evening …… includes bric a brac, blazers, toys, kids clothes and me getting excited about a bowl for my olives 😂

Today I hit 100k followers on here 🥹 probably seems ridiculous that I’m here posting about it but I have to say thank you!

I started charity shop girl 2 1/2 years ago after Stella said why don’t you do Tik Toks! I didn’t for one minute think It’d turn into the best decision I ever made let alone it end up becoming a job that I love surrounded by people who seem to get me ❤️

100k that’s a lot of people, I enjoy being here so much! You make me feel so loved and so normal and I’m sure you don’t know this but you’ve helped me some of my darkest days just by even sending me a “are you ok” message ❤️

So if you’re here for the outfits, the shoulder pads, the Charity shop hauls, the tat, the cook with CSG’s, the quotes 😂the music or of course the fact I’m hilarious 😂 thank you! Thank you for being here I promise to keep making you laugh, keep being myself and keep sharing this journey with you ❤️

I’m such a winter fashion girl I NEED layers … so I find it very difficult to dress in this weather without layering up 😬 I’m also ALWAYS cold so I know you’ll say you must be roasting I’m not I’m chilly 🥶 all the time! Except on holiday 😎

That and I hate my arms and hadn’t tanned so wasn’t getting the legs out 😫🙄

After the worst 2 day migraine I can finally share some of my fave pics from my little holiday with Joni ❣️

We stayed in the most beautiful Shepard’s hut in Tewksbury which we booked on we had the best time even popped to in Cheltenham for a little treat night.

We hit the charity shops of Tewksbury and I was so impressed, every single member of staff in each charity shop and the coffee shop we went in where so kind and chatty to Joni and I. It’s a place I’ll be heading back too very soon.

Still got to show you my haul which will be up next week ❤️

FYI, Jen didn’t just have one drink this weekend she had many, she laughed, she danced, she smiled so much and for the first time attended an event without a date and I loved it! I’m actually really good company especially when I ate cold chicken chow mein in bed on Friday night I stopped laughed and thought hey I’m a catch 😂❤️

Oh hi it’s me .. Jen the face of who’d have thought it hey ? The girl who cracks jokes in her bedroom showing you my charity shop finds 😂

Anyway the Face Ju**ie partnership came from them sending me some of the skincare and I tried it and fell in love (not like me to fall in love at first sight) 😂😂

I can’t tell you how much I love every single product they do and I’ve been committed to it for the last 12 months!

I’m honestly so glad it’s Friday tomorrow, I’ve had such a busy week it’s been non stop!

Even when I’m getting home I’m still faffing around like deciding to get into gardening, redecorating the kitchen and having a big sort out of the garage!

You know that “I wish I never started this” feeling yeah well I get that but then I keep starting other jobs 😂😂 (my mum will be saying yep that’s Jen) 😂

Anyway, I’m going charity shopping this weekend after donating 8 bags to the donation banks!

I’m so excited to rummage and I’m thinking I need to go to Nantwich!

After a really rough few days watching my boy and his school team win today was really special and cheered me up so much 💙

He looked for me and waived at me on the pitch when I arrived and I never felt so proud to be there for him today!

This time last week I was nursing a hangover from an incredible night on the cobbles ❤️

This week I feel very fresh and I’ve had such a productive weekend! Tip runs, gardening and decluttering ❤️

I’ve spent so much time with the kids, we’ve laughed, baked, shopped and I feel so content ❤️

Also what a week for CSG a 5 page spread in OK then also featured in 10+ publications this weekend.

I’m so excited for next week, I’ve got some content coming, getting my brows done (very needed) I’m baking a cake for my beautiful friend Jenny, I’ve got my nerve blocks and I’m off to Liverpool to see my bestie then away for a few days with my friends at the weekend.
