Welcome to America, where justice is elusive for some and guaranteed for others.

We will not stop fighting for equality and equal treatment under the law.

These deaths will not have been in vain. We don't forget.

This election showed us that in some parts of the US, our hard fought wins of 2020 are in for a massive reckoning in 2022 if we don't keep voter motivation and interest up. Tr*mpism will affect our children for decades to come. How do we stop it?

2019 was the most difficult year of our lives. My wife was pregnant, and in extreme unusual pain. With the access to the usual prenatal tests, and thanks to healthcare professionals, she was able to get an abortion for medical reasons. If my wife wasn’t “allowed” to do that in 2019, our son would never have been born in 2020. Abortion is never an easy decision that a woman has to make and it should be normalized. It is a safe medical procedure. But above all it is a woman’s right to make decisions for her own body. Not politics. Not religion.

Ten girls from Afghanistan's girls robotics team have been rescued out of Afghanistan.

"Several members of the girls Afghan robotics team have safely arrived in Doha, Qatar, from Kabul, Afghanistan," a statement from the Digital Citizen Fund and Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs said of the Afghan Girls Robotic Team.

The team, which consists of a group of girls ages 16-18 who have overcome hardship to pursue their love of engineering and robotics in Afghanistan, safely arrived in Qatar days after Kabul fell to the Taliban.

"Ultimately the girls 'rescued' themselves. If it were not for their hard work and courage to pursue an education, which brought them in contact with the world, they would still be trapped. We need to continue to support them and others like them," Elizabeth Schaeffer Brown, a board member on the DCF, says.

Women have learned so much about what kind of work schedules we all could have been doing this entire time to accommodate our families, our lives, our interests and consistently THRIVE. If you think we're going back to that 9-5 box you threw us in that made it so we had to choose family or career? Think again. FOLLOW US to find out how we're about to disrupt all of that.

Vote In Or Out is a voter education platform designed by some Brooklyn friends of ours. 🥰 We are very proud of them - they were featured this week in both Forbes and The Brklyner. You can go to www.voteinorout.com to create an account and start adding, saving and posting research.

BROOKLYN - A group of neighbors and friends from Brooklyn believe that though it is imperative that people vote in the elections this November, it is even more important that they know who they are voting for and the ideas that the candidates stand for. So, they created an app-- Vote In or Out. With...

As many of you struggle to persevere, remember this. You are doing good work. ☀️
⠀⠀

You were created to do good work. Work that empowers and inspires, liberates and transforms, restores and softens. Yes, work can be hard – as it was meant to be. The verb itself calls us into action, rejecting passivity and demanding sustained effort. It provokes, agitates, and disturbs. But, this work – the call for justice – is good work. It defends the oppressed and frees the captive. It tears down walls and destroys barriers. It is changing things. So, when you feel weary, or hopeless, or spent, remind yourself that the darkness is being flooded by marvelous light. Yes, this is work. And it is good.
