You know what has been on my mind?…

Yes, there are some people who know me for terrible things I’ve done, maybe to them. Or maybe things I’ve done in response to their terrible treatment of me, or another persons.

Yes, that results in a certain reputation with THAT group of people, probably based on gossip.

Or maybe, they think poorly of me because they are discussing a version of me that no longer exists…. Ya know, the drunk as***le version of me.

BUT there are a lot of people that know me for my kind heart, and for the good I’ve done. There are a lot of people that know me for who I TRULY am.

That’s the reputation that matters to me. 🤘🏻

Available 24/7 for anyone who is suicidal or experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis, 988 connects callers with the same trained crisis counselors as the National Su***de Prevention Lifeline that has existed since 2005. The existing Lifeline network includes about 200 local independent crisis centers nationally.
