Hi friends!

As many of you noticed, we did not release a new episode last weekend. With the heavy school course load we both have this semester, we have been very focused on the start of our classes. With that being said, we will not be releasing episodes on a consistent basis for the time being. BUT—We are working on two episodes that we can’t wait to release!!🤩 We’ll keep you all updated as this semester continues!🤍

How easy is it to forget our need for the Lord when things are going right in life? How easy is it to become prideful in our own ability?

Lord humble us. Remind us that our strength comes from you. Remind us to look to you at all times rather than ourselves.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Let’s talk about truth and love!

The struggle is REAL with balancing these two aspects of Jesus’s character. We want to boldly share the gospel with others out of our love for Christ and for their souls. Yet, so often loving others turns into compromising certain parts of the Gospel and/or the Bible to avoid sounding offensive.

I mean honestly, telling someone they’re a sinner in need of a savior can sound pretty offensive.

But we must ask ourselves, is it really loving to leave out certain aspects of the Gospel??

Jesus himself said that He is THE way, THE truth, and THE life. He established truth as divine, absolute, and objective. Because of this, truth is also powerful and authoritative, so we don’t need to be. In sharing a message of truth that is already offensive at its core, gentleness and humility is key.

In summary, let’s not compromise on either truth or love! Let’s boldly proclaim the truth of the gospel to our broken, sinful world in a loving, Christ-like way. Ultimately, this is the most loving thing we could ever do!

One of the fundamental aspects of salvation is faith—faith that Jesus is the son of God. Faith that Jesus Christ lived, died, and rose from the grave. Faith that Christ is the savior for sin. Faith that the book in which all these things are recorded is God’s inerrant word.

Sure, humans make mistakes. We mistranslate, misread, and lose focus of the big picture. But that does not diminish the word of God. It is the source of truth, the source of life, and the source of peace for those who have received faith.

Romans 10:17
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.”

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”
