For his day I thought I would share this...

Civil was usually found doing his ting to packed out crowds with heaving bass and flashing lights…. This mix was recorded in a slightly different setting… 10am Saturday morning in a coffee roastery.

Somehow we managed to reign in our Friday night just enough that we were reasonably fresh and Civil was ready to educate.

So yeah… inna coffee shop at 10am on a not-so-dusty Saturday morning, the bro laid down 2 and a half hours of pure, unadulterated Civil vibes.

To my knowledge, this is the only online recording of Civil so lap it up!

Sitting with his records for the weekend was an immersive experience that I wasn't quite ready for. So many memories from so many killer nights (and days) spent together, doing what we loved. It was a rollercoaster of emotions and a truly beautiful time for which I will be forever grateful. Massive thank you Courtney and Leon for the suss 🙏🙏🙏

Not only was he an amazing friend, an absolute assassin behind the decks and my favourite b2b partner but he was also the catalyst for this whole Namu adventure so it was my honour to be able to put this together.

I was lucky enough to take over the controls for the full 2 hours on the SubSonics Radio show over the weekend!
