Fg Suspends Import Duty On Rice, Flour, Other Food Items
In the wake of the excruciating hunger in Nigeria, The Federal Government through the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has suspended import duties on rice, flour, wheat and other essential food items to reduce the high costs of food items in the country
The customs also announced that it has streamlined the export processes to ensure that Nigerian goods reach international markets efficiently.

Better Days Ahead, Ministers Beg Nigerians To Shun Protest
Members of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have on Wednesday pleaded with Nigerians to shun the planned nationwide hunger protest and assured that Nigerians will soon breathe a sigh of relief.
They made this plea at a briefing in Abuja noting that the government was weary of protests being hijacked by bandits, insurgents, and other criminals
Cabinet members at the briefing include Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, minister of information and national orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, the coordinating minister of the economy and minister of finance, Wale Edun, the minister of budget and national planning, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu and the minister of solid minerals, Dele Alake.
