Baked Goods and Sweets

Israel’s leading confectioner chefs take you on a professional workshop that will teach you how to make delicious desserts in your home kitchens. The episodes focus on a wide variety of baked goods, baking techniques and raw ingredients; and will guarantee that anyone can become an expert baker. Among the different desserts that will be made are pies, choux pastries, cream desserts, cookies and more healthy desserts.

The show hosts are accomplished bakers Miki Shemo from Shemo Pastries, and Galit and Hans Bertele from Gaya Bertele.

Prisoners of war

The hit series “Prisoners of War” has arrived at The Israeli Network after successful ratings in Israel and in the US (the US version of the series is called “Homeland”)
Seventeen years ago, a reserve unit was sent into deep Lebanon in a secret operation against a senior terrorist. The operation failed and during the rescue operation, three soldiers, Ni**od Klein, Uri Zach and Amiel Ben Horin were left behind and captured. After years of negotiations behind the scenes, in a prisoner swap deal, the boys return home. Two are back alive, one in a coffin. This is their story.

A Bite from America - new original series from host chef David Levy

"A Bite From America" is a new original series that takes the viewers on a culinary journey into the modern American kitchen. The show features the food and recipes of authentic meals that revolve around the most popular events in American culture.
Each episode explores a culinary experience in the realm of American culture, with event such as the American Brunch, Football Viewing Party and Barbeque. Chef David Levy, an American cuisine expert, cooks three items that are related to the featured event. Selected foods will be integrated into the review of traditional American events and episodes will also include meetings with culinary experts (of American meat, cheese, beer, etc…) Episode topics include: Barbecue, Food and American sports, Brunch and Mexican food.

Take a tour of the most popular foods in the land of the Red, White and Blue!

Aviv and Beshevkin

An upbeat and modern travel show that takes the viewer to beautiful and interesting places in the country. The two hosts, Chef Aviv Moshe and "Survivor" Natan Beshevkin lead the series, with every episode featuring a different location in Israel.

The pair covers the country from North to South. Aviv looks for "the good life" as he shows his culinary talent by cooking up dream recipes for the viewers at home. Beshevkin experiences extreme landscapes and then makes his recommendations for the perfect trip.

Additional episodes feature the Northern shores, Tel Aviv, the rest of Gush Dan, the Galil, Jerusalem and the Dead Sea.

"The Home Page" with Avi Biton

A new original production! Chef Avi Biton serves up culinary dreams via his 'home page' on the internet.

"The Home Page" with Chef Avi Biton is a cooking show for the family of healthy eaters in an interactive world. Each episode features Avi's website and covers people's submissions on the page as they briefly describe themselves and the culinary dream they have. Avi then does his best to make their wishes come true by recommending a cooking procedure, recipe or actually cooking the dish itself. A nutritional expert and pediatric dietitian also take part in each show and give their input on the nutritional and health aspects of the dishes cooked.

The Chef Avi Biton, known as the 'bad boy' in the Israeli Culinary scene, opened his first restaurant, Adora, at the young age of 23. Adora was chosen in 2009 as one of Israel's best restaurants by the magazine "On The Table." During 2010, it was chosen as the 7th best restaurant in Israel by The Map's Guide.

Guy Eats Israel on Good Life Israel!

The Travel Channel presents a travel series hosted by actor, Guy Lowell.

Viewers will get a taste of all that Israel has to offer, the criteria for chosen locations being whether they are on the way to popular tourist destinations. Among the stops are: a brewery, a secret candy store, home of the best Kurdish cook you'll ever meet, gourmet restaurants hidden from sight and boutique wineries.

In each episode, Guy will meet with local celebrities and get an insider's scoop of the best food around. Some examples include Matti Caspi in the Galilee, Chef Erez Komarovsky from Kfar Vradim and Chef Ezra Kadem at Emek Ha'Ela. Guy Lowell will provide numerous examples of the best places to stop and dine the next time you want to find delicious food but don't know where to go!

State of the Union- Season 4

Starting on January 7th, a new season for the veteran satiric show.

The satire program "State of the Union" returns to its fourth season.
"State of the Union" was aired in January 2010. Since then, it has hosted the best comedians and Israeli stars. It has become one of the most spoken programs in Israel mainly due to the witty interviews conducted by the hosts with senior politicians in the country. Einav Galili is joining this season to the witty Lior Shlein, GuriAlfi and OrnaBanay.
