Netflix starts with a platform for mobile games.
The Netflix mobile gaming platform was launched on November 2nd. There are now only a few games on this platform, including the more well-known Stranger Things: 1984 and Stranger Things 3: The Game (although the notoriety of these games is a continuation of the success of the Stranger Things series). In August 2021, this platform was launched in Poland and the market of this country has just been tested. The tests seem to have paid off and the games are now available to most of the world. The Netflix gaming platform does not require any additional subscription fees and is rather just another fun element to add to the Netflix content package. If you subscribe to Netflix, you will gain access to the gaming platform automatically. True, a few details need to be emphasized - as mentioned, the promises are currently only valid for mobile phones or tablets and are only supported on devices running the Android operating system. Another "small" detail is that only five games can be played at the moment (including the two parts of Stranger Things already mentioned in the text). Of course, Netflix announces that content will only increase over time. Netflix itself has not really surprised the market with this "move", as Amazon Luna, Apple Arcade, Google Stadia and other mega-corporate projects have been operating on the same principle for some time. But Netflix has one plus - the games are completely free, you don't have to pay extra to play them, they don't have any ads and extra in-house purchases, which is really annoying when trying to play "free" mobile games.
