MY BOYFRIEND DOES NOT KNOW HE IS TAKING CARE OF 3 MY 3 KIDS THAT ARE NOT HIS AND THEIR BIOLOGICAL FATHER IS NO MORE.

I want out of this so bad. I am financially dependent on him and I have 3 children that he has been here for since their birth. My 8yo twins think he’s their real father. I’m planning on telling them soon but I want to do it in a therapeutic setting bc I will also have to tell them their bio dad has passed. Anyhow… this man is dead inside. He will not help me with our 15yo son who is almost out of control. He doesn’t help me with the girls. I feel so alone. I just can’t work up the courage to make him leave. We are both in recovery and I have worked my ass off day in and day out to be a better person, a better mom. Meanwhile all he has done is stop using. He constantly discourages me by not being supportive of and sometimes undermining my parenting choices. There’s a lot more to it. We don’t fight a lot bc I ignore things to keep the peace. When I bring up my unhappiness and ask for help parenting these babies he just gaslights me or walks away. I just needed to say this out loud because I am feeling really low tonight. I just want to be a kind and happy mom and this relationship keeps me irritable and angry. I can’t seem to find the strength and courage to end it. I know I would be so much happier single. Ok. I’m feel like I’m rambling. Anyone have and experience and hope?
