I am offering my services for hire as a songwriter, lyricist, arranger, producer,
piano/keyboard player, singer and recording engineer.
My Process
Many of my very best songs (see below)
started out as a lyrical idea. I take those words to the piano and see if there is already a marriage of music that wants to come forth.
Many times the music comes instantly.
Key and everything. As if it had just been waiting to meet its lyrical counterpart.
It’s real magic. But only the beginning.
The fun has just begun.
Developing the song
Step 1-
After the initial music introduces itself and starts to dance with the lyric I then arrange the song structure into
Intro, verses, bridge and choruses, and end section.
Step 2-
After I am comfortable with the arrangement production begins.
First I will compose, perform and record a piano part.
Step 3-
I will record a reference vocal track.
Step 4-
I will then start adding other instruments:
bass, drums, percussion, strings and
backing vocals.
Step 5-
Start mixing the track.
Step 6-
Master the track.
Voila.

**World class studio musicians (played with Peter Gabriel, McCartney, Bono) to play the parts and add their special magic and expertise to the song.
