A new episode is out! In episode 8 our hosts ask themselves how they would define personal development and what it means to them. They question whether structure and control incurs a lack of spontaneity in life. Later on, they consider life through a game metaphor and end by highlighting practical ways to improve the quality of conscious experience. Join them in their very first lightbulb session!

We have three new posts within our open blog to announce!!!
Check out the first one here: https://www.madpod.org/post/an-important-insight-when-studying-political-science

The three titles so far are:
'An important insight when studying political science’,
‘On Nothingness’ (in the Dao), and
‘South Africa handcuffed by racialised past’.

If you’d like to see your essay in that list, send it over to us at [email protected]!

Happy procrastinating everybody😉

Studying political science at first leaves you with the false hope that improving the social sphere is straightforward. However, you quickly realise the true messiness of the business, and not because of Marxist theory having convinced you of its Communist utopia (another word for a place based on w...

Have you ever thought an essay you wrote deserved some recognition, but you don’t know where to publish it?

Our podcast team has just started an open platform (madpod.org/blog) where you can share your special essays with everyone and be inspired by others. The only conditions are that your piece is insightful, remains respectful in tone, and isn’t political propaganda (don’t use this as an advertising platform). The point of your piece should be thoughtful argumentation.

If you want to share an essay with us, just send us an email at [email protected]. We will get back at you whether we can upload your piece (remember we are not obliged to upload your piece). You may also share a piece anonymously :)

The first piece has been uploaded. Hope to hear from you soon!

Here’s a quick update:
First, we will no longer be posting on every other Wednesday. But don’t worry, we’ll be posting often! We will send you a message through our page which will notify you of new releases.
Second, we are formally introducing our climate change series! Every third episode will address a new facet of this ongoing issue we all face.
