Birthday appreciation post 🥳🎈

Clark doesn’t appear a lot in our videos and photos because 99% of the time he is behind the camera capturing our incredible travel memories.

So on his birthday, it’s only fitting to have an entire post of Clark.

Australia’s Red Centre 🧡☀️

The Red Centre is at the heart of Australia and is rich in culture, history and unique natural landscapes.

This area includes 3 unmissable destinations:

📍Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa National Park
📍Kings Canyon region
📍Alice Springs

We visited The Red Centre in June 2021, at a time when we were unable to travel internationally. Although we were eager to venture overseas, we were blessed to have the opportunity to explore more of our own backyard.

The trip that started it all ⛰️🛶

The decision to quit our jobs and travel for 1 year was not made overnight. It all started in March 2020, when we returned home from a 2-week road trip around New Zealand’s South Island.

In those 14 days, we fell in love with New Zealand and even more in love with road trips and hiking.

Visiting Venice is … 🚤🎭

Carrying heavy suitcases over multiple bridges to get to your hotel.

Trying to navigate with Google maps until you finally give up and embrace getting lost in the maze of alleyways and canals.

Justifying how much money your spending by saying you’ll probably never get a chance to come back.

Running out of iPhone storage because you can’t stop taking pictures of the canals, gondolas and beautiful architecture.

Walking 20,000 steps in heat of summer because you only booked 48 hours in the floating city and need to see it all.

Loving every second of it and not regretting a single decision that brought you to this unique and wonderful city.
