• Government successfully launched FreeSHS policy.

• National Buffer Stock Company has been contracted to supply food to the various Senior High Schools (SHSs) across the country. This will provide stable market for farmers across the country

• Works and Housing Ministry to put up more than 10,000 units of high rise building at 36 PWD plots of land lying idle across the country to help ease accommodation deficits in the country
• Ministry of Finance has released GH¢50 million towards the construction of 15 mini waste transfer stations in Accra
• Paperless clearing system at Ghana’s ports generates GHC 213m in first week of operation which is 56% increase on last year’s revenue of GHC 130m for the same period. The system will soon operate a 24hr clearing service.
• National Youth authority to meet 120 Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) across the country on September 20, 2017 to help provide job avenues for the youth and also deliberate on effective ways of addressing youth unemployment in ghana.

• Government through Energy Ministry and GNPC has renegotiated NDC’s contract for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) which has saved Ghana over $1.2 billion in a new LNG transaction that will allow for the addition of up to 1,000MW to Ghana’s power supply.
• Fitch’s BMI report has predicted Ghana’s balance of trade will move into a surplus in 2018, the first time in at least two decades.
• One Village One Dam programme to start from the Kpandai District with 10 units of 300KW Biopower and 80 hectres of centre pivot irrigation dams in 10 selected villages in the district.
• Special Prosecutor Bill to be ready by October 4
• Railway workers get 35% salary increase effective July, 2017. All Their salary Arrears have been cleared by Government. Government resolves to ensure the workers receive salary before end of every month.
• The Registrar General Department (RGD) has successfully implemented the online registration of businesses, issuance of certificates to commence business, and the registration of marriages.
