Air quality has improved from the stay-at-home order due to the reduction of green gas emissions, but "not all the environmental consequences of the crisis have been positive” says UNCTAD. It says attention must be given; "Volumes of unrecyclable waste have risen; severe cuts in agricultural and fishery export levels have led to the generation of large quantities of organic waste; maintenance and monitoring of natural ecosystems have been temporarily halted”
世界的なロックダウンは、大気中の汚染物質や温室効果ガスの削減をもたらしている。が、「全てがプラスに影響しているわけではない」とUNCTAD(国連貿易開発会議)は指摘する。「リサイクル不可能ゴミの増加、農業・漁業の輸出減少による生ゴミの大量廃棄、自然保護区などのモニター活動の停止によるエコシステムの崩壊」などへの対応策を講じる必要があると語っている。
