Because I still can’t believe what my body did, how it expanded and what came from it. The growth, from 8 weeks to 40 weeks, I was stretched to house and nurture our little one. Just look at her growww 🥹. What I thought was my *last* bump pic at 40 weeks, but our little princess had other plans and came at 40+6. Still in awe. We are wonderfully made indeed.

Body, I thank you. So proud of myself and I deserve the world after this. Tuhhhhhh 👑!!!!

We wanted to give her a name that has some meaning and a strong name that can always be remembered. So we went with an Arabic name since she was 😜 and one that had strong meaning behind it.

Can hardly believe it’s June and that we’re sooo much closer to meeting baby girl 🥹💖.

I’m smiling here because this was a good day! But, third trimester has been… quite something 🥲. Before this I’d say pregnancy has been pretty good to me, not awful at all and I’m gratefulllll. However, as soon as the third trimester hit, everything has gotten harder. As simple as walking is getting hard for me due to lotssss of pelvic pressure , possible SPD and round ligament pains. *the joyyyyy* lol. All part of the ride they say. I’m moving much slower, having major indigestion, just uncomfortable. But baby girllll, she’s doing goooood! Kicking, twirling, swirling👊🏾.. especially at night time when we should be sleeping (pray for me lol). And that’s the best part and all that matters now. I know it all just means the body is getting ready to do what it’s created to do. So I shall be moving slower, resting more and nesting a whole lot as we get closer to the finish line.

PS. All crocs haters stay away, we are in our comfortable era 😂

GIRL MOM & GIRL DAD 🥹💖. Swipe for the many reactions 🤣🤣.

Somehow, we convinced ourselves it was a baby boy so when the pink balloons and confetti dropped out the box we were SHOCKED!!!! 😂 like we could’ve been sure sure anyway 🙄😅. Once it sinked in though, I realize God gives us what we need, and He knows I needed a little mini me best friend. I’ve always wanted a girl, but for whatever reason I saw myself with a boy first. But to be honest, I’m truly a girls girl and couldn’t be happier to go on the journey to raise one. I know it will be filled with many lessons, lots of healing, but sooo many girly, cutesy moments, and I can’t wait for this little baby girl to steal both of our hearts 🥹.

We’re growing and I can hardly believe it🥹🫶🏾.

Woke up one day, looked down and bam! First trimester was giving bloated 😂 We now have a belly and I’m in the second trimester “bliss” so we took the bump to the beach for the first time! Beach body looking a little different, but I like it 🤭.

A slow January. For that, I am grateful ☺️
Celebrating and showering our nephew and the soon to be parents, changing 💩 diapers under pressure lol no I did not win🤣, hangry selfie but then fed and happy again, roll out with my fave person, yummy eats, pool daze, loving on my fave person lol, flowers that brightens any day and space and for the new year 😬

Spending time away from social media aka a social media detox always feels so good and does well for me. It’s just something I have to do to remember to stay present, look up and out, spend more quality time, get ish done and just enjoy life outside of this screen we’re all so attached to (let’s be honestttt👀). I love a slow start to the year, a slow start to my days and just a slow start in general. I felt no pressure to do anything but *be*. Now I’m ready to pick the pace back up again, in my way. So if you get anything from this post, it’s to remember to put the phone down for long periods sometimes. It does wonders! 💖
