Feeling drained even though you’ve just gotten up in the morning? By 3 o’clock are you dragging and barely making it through the rest of your day? Are you constantly feeling like you have to push yourself past your tiredness limit?
There’s hope!
Here are some ways to increase access to your body’s energy ALL DAY long!
1. Control Stress - We all have to deal with stress, but are you staying in control or are you letting it control you? Get outside, take a walk, take 5 minutes to stretch & breathe deep.
2. Lighten Your Load - It’s ok to say “No”. Don’t let yourself get overworked.
3. Eat For Energy - Eat low glycemic foods, lean proteins, healthy fats, and lots of veggies. Foods that are high in empty carbohydrates are best avoided.
4. Get Adequate Sleep - Setting a bedtime and getting a minimum of 7 hours of sleep can make all the difference in your energy levels the next day.
5. Drink Water - If your body is short of fluids, one of the first signs is a feeling of fatigue. So drink up!
