Igbaja, Kwara State. 21st Tuesday, November, 2023.

The ex*****on of His Excellency’s directive to equip all Kwara State hospitals continued today with the delivery of all the medical equipment requested by the Chief Medical Director of the Cottage Hospital lgbaja, Dr. Babatunde Ayanda.

The management of the Kwara state hospitals management board upon arrival were received at the palace of the Elese of Igbaja, His Royal Highness, Alh. Ahmed Awuni Babalola, the Igbaja elders, members of Igbaja health committee and other stakeholders.

The royal father prayed for the visiting HMB management and expressed his appreciation to His Excellency for keeping his promise to equip the Igbaja cottage hospital. “He was here yesterday and today he has sent you with medical equipment so my people can have access to improved quality healthcare service. Am very happy and grateful”, said His Royal Highness.

Among the equipment supplied to the hospital were:-
- Blood bank refrigerator
- Bucket centrifuge
- Theater lamp
- Oxygen concentrators
- Autoclave machine
- Suctioning machine
- Hematocrit centrifuge
- Electrophoresis machine
- Sphygmomanometers and many more.

The Cottage Hospital Igbaja Health Committee members who were newly inaugurated by HMB, were also present during the delivery of the medical equipment.

The board management also took the opportunity of the visit to perform part of its statutory responsibilities by conducting a monitoring and auditing exercise of the hospital and all its records.
