The future is female. Gillian Mushaninga, Charmaine Mtongwizo and Shylene Nhongo scooped a Gold Medal at Zimbabwe Science Fair in February. After 3 mentors from Kids In Technology Zimbabwe visited their school to advertise their robotics kit. Their school managed to purchase one kit , which came along with 3 free in-person lessons. They went on to use Youtube tutorials and Google pdfs in order to assemble and code the robot . Having acquired the knowledge, gained experience and aware of the difficulties that come with mastering robotics, we volunteered to offer free lessons, guidance and project consultations to other youngsters who are passionate about robotics and changing the communities around them.
