Quick follow up to the reboots the last few days -

We have been getting DDoS’d pretty heavily which basically knocks the servers offline. On top of that last night in the chaos we lose a board on one of our servers.

Early today we made a change to our routing and just now we rebooted the missing server with the new board as it came in late; we elected to do it now because load was lighter than it typically is at this hour and if for whatever reason we saw a spike it might have brought the entire setup down for longer than the 3 minute reboot.

A lot of our issues with the DDoS come from a vulnerability we are seeing with our old servers still being online and outdated; so we are going to heavily push to get anyone left on those servers to move and hopefully close the servers down this week.

Sorry for the big write up; I know some of you like to know the inner workings and why’s so figured it’d be beneficial to post!

Live event 9 and up for UFC tonight; I’ll try to get a special section added for it shortly

Remember if the main feeds get to busy you can always use the UK feeds as a backup under BT Sport 🙂

We are upgrading one of our Core Servers in the next hour - 2. Should be quick with minimal disruptions but you may see some stations not work as we move the new server in.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!

For today let’s try to use the Super Bowl categories and NOT the locals (unless absolutely necessary). Over usage on locals causes local servers to crash on the Old Servers which has a dominoe effect.

I’d also highly suggest a VPN for today - if you aren’t running one today is a good day to google how to get one and set it up.

*you may notice a little bit of bufffering on movies and series for the day as we allocate more resources to Live TV, just as a precaution.

Old Servers (pre september 2023 accounts) just got brought down from a DDoS. Working now to get them back up

New Servers are still fine.

Might be a few reboots over the next 6 hours as we finish adding the VOD servers fully. Movies and tv shows are redownloading as we speak so you’ll see more and more start to work after the reboots.

Last few VOD Servers are being added now; alot of the content will be back, some isnt. Should be fully operational again shortly.

Live TV is still fine however :)

Bringing new servers down for a few minutes to finish updates we had to hold off on earlier. Sorry for the hectic day!

All servers are back and running - if I provided you with a backup username please start switching back to your normal servers.

You may need to close and open the app a few times for the changes I made on the backend to take hold.

We are still working on the servers however I realize NFL is starting soon - so if you need a backup service just incase this goes beyond the first game please send me us a message and I’ll give you one free of charge (providing you have an account with us)

Hey Everyone!

We have added some new resources to our NEW server pool (if you upgraded since 9/1/2023 you probably are on it.)

To those who are not yet on it i will upgrade you manually when your current sub comes to an end. I know a lot of you have asked if you could upgrade early - sadly for free that isn't possible.

HOWEVER - if you want to upgrade reach out, let me see when your current sub ends and i can offer you the family prices to move early should you want.

There is absolutely no dire need to switch now, however it may help when servers hit peak load + some changes to VOD :)
