Journal of Cell Biology and Genetics The Journal of Cell Biology and Genetics (JCBG) is a peer reviewed open access journal. The journal

The Journal of Cell Biology and Genetics publishes original articles relating to advances in the biology of cells including genetic and biochemical aspects, cell division, growth, apoptosis and differentiation in relation to the mechanisms of human diseases and gene expression. Studies on cell organelles, RNA metabolism and signaling are also of interest to the journal. JCBG welcomes submission of

full-length research articles, short communications and review articles. In addition, the journal also welcomes letters and commentaries to the editor.

Blockade of Akt/mTOR pathway and enhancement of histone acetylation by PHI to induce cells apoptosis in prostate cancer PC3 cells

Our object is to demonstrate that phenyhexyle isothiocyanate (PHI), a synthetic isothiocyanate, blocked Akt/mTOR signaling in prostate cancer PC3 cell line, in addition to inhibited histone deacetylase to induce cell apoptosis.
