Hey all! Anastasia here with a quick update- we are coming back, but we're a little delayed..

Since we ended our first "season," things have been busy, but not in a productive way, as Loren and I were hoping. Loren got swamped at work, and boy, did I have a messy month and a half. Between breaking my collarbone with an equine assisted gravity check, moving, surgery and being sling-bound for a month, and also not having internet until this last week, Loren and I didn't get nearly all the things done that we wanted.

So, now that I'm (mostly) healed up, have internet, and Loren has breathing room at work, we're happy to announce that we're finally back to planning and recording! We're excited to share more creepy and thrilling stories with you soon!

Episode 39 is out and we're talking about exorcism! The exorcism at Earling involved Emma Schmidt, pseudonym Anna Ecklund, and took place over several months.

Mocked by her father for her beliefs, Emma buried herself in her local religious community as much as she could, but as she entered her teenage years, she found little comfort within those sacred walls.

Emma became repulsed by the holy and blessed objects, thoughts of horrendous violence filled her head, and it wasn't long before she was unable to enter the church at all. After unsuccessful attempts by both doctors and her religious counsel to help, an exorcist was requested.

On June 18, 1912, Emma underwent an exorcism by Father Theophilus Riesinger, a Capuchin priest from Bavaria. The Rites were initially considered a success, but Emma's story had just begun...
