Here's yet another episode of our podcast The Bongshot!

I, personally, talk about the biggest heist ever in gaming history. How Ubi+ subscription is a bad purchase because they'll take your money and not even give you the subscription system, and their support team is basically clueless about all this.

Oh and I also have Vaibhav Chavan from UnderDOGS Gaming Studio who has a YouTube channel and an upcoming game called Mukti coming up. The conversation however is mainly about the development scenario in india and how one even gets to become a game developer in this country where there's not a lot of guidance.

This is honestly where it all started for me.

I played video games ever since I can remember, but I got serious about video games after I got my first real PC with a graphic card - which was in 2013. I remember not being able to play any of the top AAA games before that at proper FPS, I would just watch YouTube videos of games and read up theories about other games. I even followed a lot of influencers back then when YouTube was still a relatively new thing for gamers to get their gaming information from.

I can't imagine I would have gotten into the industry if I didn't have this with me. It's where I started writing for Asidcast and eventually wrote more than 1500+ articles in a span of 3 years. I rushed through multiple games after I got this beast back in the day. Games like Assassin's Creed, Witcher 2, Company of Heroes ran like butter on this thing and I couldn't have been happier.

This wasn't the most uber setup back in the day. The specs were really modest with me having a Zotac GTX 760, a Roccat Mouse, Cooler Master Keyboard, an i5 and 8 GB ram. But I won't forget this PC ever in my life. I remember standing in the rain outside the store looking through my phone, researching to make sure I don't end up purchasing something stupid that i'd regret. I just wanted the best PC I could get at that moment to do what I absolutely loved since my childhood, play games; and you know what, back in the day, this was the best thing i had gotten for my birthday.

My Mom got me this setup back then. And i'll always be grateful for that. Cause without this, I don't think i'd be where I am today or have met the amazing people i have over the years because of this small decision back then.

I made a video after a long time. Lockdown has been mentally draining for me, surprising even me actually since I'm at home most days anyway. But it's tough times and it doesn't look like things will get back to normal anytime soon. I hope everyone is doing well. Here is some Bengali CSGO action from me and my friends.

Video took me approx 16 hours to make in total. The long time because i'm woefully out of practice and also because there's a lot of key frame animations in the video, which i'm learning (just basic stuff for now).

( Also, for those who are wondering, yes this is how we play. None of this is scripted, we actually have fun with our video games

An amazing game coming out later this year. Not only is it one of the few god games I've found with modern day game mechanics and an evolution from whatever previous god games have laid down, but it's also very good!

End game will consist of colonizing other planets once your race hits space age and can create space ships.

Graphics is good, gameplay is a bit slow but very satisfying (atleast for me who plays a lot of strategy / RTS / god games etc.), controls are intuitive and it's just made so well
