Ex Mortis Gloria, or “From Death Comes Glory” is a violent plunge into the balance of might and greed in the history of the Roman empire. Triumph, bitter defeat, lust and corruption inspire this look at the more brutal side of human history. Nine tracks ranging from furiously pulverizing riffs to massive lumbering moments that evoke being crushed by war elephants. The follow-up to 2016's "Titanomachy", Ex Mortis Gloria is an onslaught of relentless and epic death metal for the ages.

It's time to crack a cold one along with some skulls, for the British death metallers of INEBRIOUS INCARNATE are bringing the downpour of booze and mayhem with their debut record, Abstemious Genocide!

"It's crazy to think this is almost 7 years in the making," the band share. "Some of the songs on this album were written prior to the band even forming, so it's beyond exciting to finally release these onto the unsuspecting public. Due to our various other projects and extra curricular activities (drinking profusely), the band went on a small sabbatical to focus on getting the album sounding as good as possible. We think it sounds f**king huge and will cater to all fans of the Brutal Death, Grind and Slam/Hardcore genres."

Recorded at Ritual Studios, engineered, mixed and mastered by Samuel Turbitt, and with art by Giannis Nakos / Remedy Art Design, Abstemious Genocide intends to serve listeners up with boozy, yet technically intricate brutal chugs. "Writing the album was laborious at times, only because we wanted to make sure that everything flowed as well as it could - whilst trying to maintain our own sound," the band express. "Blending the technical with the more simplistic elements was a big focus - not just playing blasts for the sake of it and making sure the slams aren't tedious and repetitive. The recording took place at the Ritual Sounds HQ with Sam Turbitt running the show; we all worked closely with him to ensure nothing in the production was lost. Keep an ear out for bowel disrupting sub drops and wildly overproduced pinch harmonics!"

But for all the sweat, blood and p**s the band put into their work, INEBRIOUS INCARNATE also know how to have fun. "The lyrics are all absolutely f**king hilarious and still make us all laugh when reading them back. It's a shame they're covered up by the Neanderthal growled vocals! Whilst the lyrics are a testament to Doug's creative wordplay, his range of vocals - from deep gutturals to mid/high pitched Tomas Lindberg-esque shrieks - are what set this album apart from your typical Brutal Death/Slam record."

In anticipation for the album's release, INEBRIOUS INCARNATE share, "Honestly we're just buzzing to finally release this album and hope some of the long suffering followers of the band will be thankful for the wait, whilst also picking some new fans up along the way!"
