We're back!
We've had a rethink and a little change
Money became an issue for everybody so we decided to take our designs to digital printing
Have moved sites so that things are able to be more affordable.
As well to make it easier for everyone we have made it international.

Massive pause!😯
I've been entirely unable to locate/collect any wood for a few weeks now

All wood burning is on hold for a little while now. Can't say how long for but there will be an excitement post once I've been able to get hold of some 😊

🌈WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
Please refer to our festival site map for our dedicated accessibility entrance via Campbell Park events plateau entrance.

🌈ASSISTANCE & GUIDE DOGS
Assistance & Guide dogs are welcome throughout the festival. However, we strongly recommend not exposing your dogs to any of the performance marquess as these could be particularly noisy.

🌈SIGNED PERFORMANCE INTERPRETERS
Milton Keynes Pride Festival have registered BSL interpreters across our performance and community stages.

🌈MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
In the event of a medical emergency, please notify a member of MIlton Keynes Pride Festival’s volunteers, steward’s or security for any assistance that is required.

🌈DISABLED FACILITIES
You’ll find gender neutral wheelchair accessible toilets on the festival site. See our Pride Map for details of the locations of the toilets and Mobiloo.

🌈BRAILLE PROGRAMS
We will have a selection of free braille programs available on the day which can be collected from our merchandise stall.

🌈ACCESSIBLE PARKING
There will be coned off parking outside the festival plateau down Avebury Boulevard, no booking required but there is limited availability. This is allocated on a first come first serve basis.

If you have any queries, or need assistance during your visit to the festival, please ask a volunteer, steward or security member.

Call the Salon 01908 315381 to book a slot.
Spaces are first come first served and will be limited. Please book a slot as we don't want to be turning kids away.

Sorry I've been a little quiet! Moving house is quite something 🥲

In the meantime I've got a little piece of equipment on the way for the wood burning
Now I'll be able to "print" ANYTHING onto the wood

I'm happy to accept donations of wood with this (Must be dry and no varnish) if I buy the wood it adds quite a bit of ££ and we don't want that!

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE MONTH 🏳️‍🌈 is celebrated annually in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall riots, and works to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community.

During this Month many ask…
What are companies intentions behind making the rainbow statement? Is it pure social activism or an act of commercial marketing?

While we are inspired to see more organisations have increased recognition of the LGBTQ+ community through honoring its culture during the month, we should also observe if there is consistency within the effort!

LGBTQ+ people still experience discrimination and poor treatment when accessing businesses and services, including shops, cafés, banks and gyms. According to Stonewall, more than a third of trans people (34 per cent) have been discriminated against because of their gender identity when visiting a café, restaurant, bar or nightclub in the last year.

I got my mother this keyring a few years ago and it just suited her down to a T (Although she did howl with laughter when crazy Breda quoted it🤫)

UK: New rainbow 50p coin honours 50 years of Pride in UK with trans and POC inclusive flags

A new 50p coin with an LGBT+ theme has been released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the UK's inaugural Pride celebrations. 🏳️‍🌈

The Royal Mint's special release is the first time the LGBTQ+ community has been directly honoured on official UK coinage, though gay codebreaking hero Alan Turing last year became the new face of the £50 note.
