Breaking News 📰
Atiku has called for the release of Nnemdi Kanu after the incident in Aba yesterday. He write in his official X app page

The violence that led to the killing of soldiers and civilians in Abia State on Thursday stands condemned. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who may have lost a loved one. May their souls rest in peace. But even more profound is the impact of yesterday's sit-at-home in the Southeast region of our country on students writing WAEC examinations.

The veil of the so-called Unknown Gun Men hiding under cover to unleash death and mayhem must be lifted to ensure that criminal elements are separated from legitimate agitators.

To this end, without prejudice to the ongoing legal processes, I think the time has come to explore a political resolution to the Nnamdi Kanu and other associated issues. I believe that this will diffuse the compressor cooker situation in the region. It will be a win-win for all parties. -AA

NON-VIOLENCE IN IGBO TRANSLATION IS " biri Kam biri ".

THE REAL REASON WHY MASSOB WAS LAUNCHED ON MAY 22 was to save NDIGBO anywhere in the world from extermination. He sworn with his LIFE for that. Why BIM na MASSOB was loved so much by all and sundry today was as a result of our ability to maintain our principle of NON-VIOLENCE in all our activities. This has HELPED us to secure and preserve the lives of over four million IGBO youths who would have been deceived by our DISGRUNTLED politicians.

In his words, UWAZURIKE said " OUR MISSION IS* Sovereign Biafra*.
OUR DUTY IS " to ensure that the earlier STRUGGLE by our fathers does not die". That was the voice of RALPH UWAZURIKE at 175 faulks road Aba on MAY 22 2000. He set the ball rolling with a NON-VIOLENCE resistance movement. At that point, UWAZURIKE automatically became the modern day ODUMEGWU OJUKWU. His method may be different, yes, it is totally different but the message is the same. LET MY PEOPLE GO.

The intention of the founder of MASSOB, IJELE NDIGBO, was to draw the attention of the NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT to the situation of INJUSTICES towards NDIGBO so that those that perpetuate the UNJUST situation would have a RETHINK and do THINGS right. Rather, with the refusal of the perpetrators to CHANGE their act, this ignited FATHER RALPH to go for a full scale MOBILISATION for the ACTUALIZATION of the SOVEREIGN state of BIAFRA.

MAY 22 is a day of RE-WRITING BIAFRAN history with a PEACEFUL movement by introducing what he learnt from INDIA MAHATMA GANDHI to the people of the South EAST in particular, NIGERIANS and the rest of AFRICA at large. It was like a MYSTERY because one , they have never seen or heard of that KIND of agitation in any where in the world before. NON-VIOLENCE & NON-EXODUS MOVEMENT, the two words joined together is UNEXAMPLED agitation in African history, the FIRST of its KIND in the world as well.

Those who possess the government INSTRUMENT for perpetuating it. Thus, rather than this MEN in authority reason like rational HUMAN BEINGS who should recognize the need to return the country to the part of EQUITY and JUSTICE, rather the POWER intoxicated oppressors would seek more avenues to perpetuate their evil acts , inflicting more PAINS on the PEOPLE of the SOUTH EAST with their lopsided political SYSTEM more and more. This is the situation in NIGERIA up till today and that is why there is RESTIVENESS in the oppressed regions here and there in the nation.

The real problem is that the GOVERNMENT is still living in a FOOLS PARADISE in all of this. They keep on ignoring the COMPELLING issues that MASSOB has RAISED from day ONE which was on SEPTEMBER 13TH 1999. They ACQUIRED a deaf ear until the RED-BLACK-GREEN flag which has the RISING SUN was raised up for the SECOND time in ABA (The Heart Of Igbo land) in the year 2000, the GOVERNMENT one after the other choose to CHASE shadows INSTEAD of reality up till now.

CONSUMED by its own mental flights, the government of Nigeria thinks that GROWING incidence of ETHNIC NATIONALISM in Nigeria is a passing fancy. They thought it is a momentary indulgence mbanu, But it is not.

The first date MAY 30TH was for the DEFENSE of our dear LIVES and to protect our hard earned PROPERTIES found here and there from total DESTRUCTION by our enemies . Our HERO DIM ODUMEGWU OJUKWU with the LIVING and FALLEN Heroes did all they can in respect to that. They fought gallantly if not.........

NON-VIOLENCE is the most effective way to show GREATER respect for HUMANITY and it stands as a voluntary ☮️ PEACE- KEEPING application by every individual or Nation who applied it in any part of the world. If applied in our daily activities, It will definitely bring down VIOLENT ACTS drastically to zero point and reduce U.N huge EXPENSES on human and material movement to crisis areas in order to MAKE or KEEP peace.

The fact of the MATTER is that the cleavages created by the AGITATIONS have come to stay. They have become a consciousness with a LIFE of their own. They can neither be retracted nor WISHED away.

Happy Anniversary.
Long live Bim/Massob Organisation.
Long live Ralph Uwazurike.
Long live Republic of Biafra.

Larry Odinmah
Ministry of Information.

A Nigerian soldier, Tope from Ikere who was serving in Benin City, Edo State returned to his village for his official Pass ( Leave) to spend time with his family.

Around 9:30 pm, he sent his younger brother to go buy fuel for their generator, after power was interrupted.
While the brother was driving to get the fuel, some police officers stopped him and had him arrested.

He explained that his soldier brother sent him to buy fuel hence the reason for being out at that time of the night. They didn't believe him so he called his brother to speak to them but they refused to release him and insisted that he must come down to their location to identify him.

Unfortunately on his way to see them, he had an accident and sustained injuries but passersby managed to carry him to the checkpoint.
They pleaded with the policemen to allow them to use their car and take him to a hospital as it was late and difficult to get other vehicles, but the policemen refused.

Thankfully, another car came by and agreed to convey the soldier to the hospital, but on their way to the hospital, the soldier passed away.

This is how the life of a soldier who got an official.

Nollywood stigmatised this hat, turned it into a symbol of drunk people, poverty and Unexposed Villagers.

But it took an Igbo musician from Delta state to remove the stigma and bring it back to contemporary trend.

Thank you
