NCIS season 20: Wilmer Valderrama shares premiere date news

In case you missed it, NCIS season 20 officially has a premiere date — why not see what one of the show’s stars has to say about it?

Recently, Wilmer Valderrama created a post on Instagram (see below) reminding us all that the long-running crime drama is going to be back on Monday, September 19, and of course we’re 100% excited about that. It’s hard not to be! We’re hoping that this new season will contain a handful of big-time twists and great cases; we know from the get-go there will be a compelling mystery around Alden Parker and what happened to him.

So why is this announcement even more significant coming from Wilmer? It has a lot to do with some of the fears that he could be leaving leading into the new season. He is, after all, working on a new Zorro project with Disney, and we do still have a lot of questions as to when that will shoot and how he could juggle both shows. For at least the time being, though, it doesn’t seem like he is going anywhere.

In general, we imagine that season 20 will be an emotional one for Torres as he tries to contend with a lot of the pain from his past. Is he really back on a good path after his struggles with alcohol during season 19?

What do you most want to see from Wilmer Valderrama on NCIS season 20?

NCIS LA's Eric Christian Olsen dealt blow as project away from CBS is axed

The live-action Hulu series Woke, starring New Girl’s Lamorne Morris, has been cancelled this week after just two seasons. In addition to the sitcom star, the cancellation was also bad news for NCIS: Los Angeles star Eric Christian Olsen, who served as executive producer on the series away from his long-running role as Special Agent Marty Deeks.

One of Eric’s first projects as executive producer, Woke, has been cancelled by Hulu after two seasons.

The comedy series followed comedy star Lamorne as cartoonist Keef, who begins to hear the voices of inanimate objects after a traumatic experience of racial profiling.

It was loosely based on the life of American cartoonist Keith Knight, who co-created and served as a writer on the series.

After the second season was released all at once in April last year, the streaming service has now decided not to continue with the surreal series.

As well as being one of Lamorne’s first post-New Girl main roles, Woke was also the first time NCIS star Eric had stepped up to produce a television series.

He has also written two episodes of the LA-based spin-off, the latest, Live Free or Die Standing, being directed by his co-star Daniela Ruah.

On Twitter, Lamorne has since reacted to the news of his latest television role coming to an end.

“When & cultures collide. This is a riddle by the way,” he wrote on Friday.

Earlier in the month, Lamorne was confirmed to have been nominated for a Black Reel TV Award alongside the likes of Donald Glover and Don Cheadle.

In response to the achievement, he quipped: “Can I win this even after being cancelled?”

Writer for the series Kyra Jones also tweeted: “I’m exhausted today, but so grateful to have had the opportunity to break into TV with this incredible show.

“I got to write about social justice AND eating p***y and to me, those are one and the same.”

replied to his latest post: “Can’t wait to see your next project though. You’re not done yet!”

Scarlett Humphries responded to Kyra: “This f*****g blows.

“I started watching this year because of your tweets about it and was really looking forward to more.”

And said: “Great show on the wrong streaming service.

“Who watches HULU for original content? I hope it goes to a new platform like HBO Max, Amazon Studios, etc.”

Could another streamer recognise Woke’s potential and pick it up for another season?

Time will tell but, for now, both Lamorne and Eric will be focusing on their next TV ventures.

NCIS Los Angeles season 14 premieres Sunday, October 9 on CBS. Woke is available to stream on Hulu. UK release dates have yet to be announced.

NCIS: Hawaii season 2: Is filming about to be underway?

For everyone out there stoked for NCIS: Hawaii season 2,
In a post on Twitter (see below), show executive producer Christopher Silber noted that they are “ramping up production” on the latest batch of episodes. This news comes alongside the reveal that the show is coming back on Monday, September 19, following the flagship NCIS.
We know that there’s going to be a LOT of great stuff coming on the new season, and absolutely some of it will start with seeing some more dramatic cases alongside what’s next for Jane Tennant in her personal life. The writers did a great job balancing all of these different components back in season 1, and we very-much tend to believe that they are going to be doing something similar here, as well.

To go along with that, of course we’re expected for what is next for Lucy and Whistler! At the end of season 1 the two finally got back together, and we’re hoping that after everything they have been through, they are going to be a stronger-than-ever couple moving forward. Also, we want to see them work together more!

Is another crossover with the main show possible?

We tend to think so, though we would stop short of saying that it’s 100% inevitable. We just think that it is something that we’d like to see transpire since there are a lot of characters who still haven’t met each other between the two shows. We also wonder if this time, we could see a couple of characters from Hawaii head over to the mainland to be around the majority of the team. It’d be a good way to flip things based on where they were this past time.

What are you excited for the most when it comes to NCIS: Hawaii season 2?

NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14: Is it set to premiere in October 2022?

The CBS network already announced that NCIS: Los Angeles would indeed return this year, which has increased interest among viewers to watch the new season as soon as possible. If you are one of them who want to get clarity about the potential release date then look no further! As we’ve compiled all of the relevant information on the NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 release date to remove all your worries.
On April 1, 2022, CBS renewed NCIS: Los Angeles for a 14th season. The network also confirmed the news by sharing the renewal announcement on the official Twitter handle, of NCIS: Los Angeles quoting, “Hop in for the ride — there’s a lot more road to travel. will be coming back for Season 14!”
According to the network, NCIS: Los Angeles will be a part of CBS’s fall lineup for the 2022-2023 TV season. This indicates that it is likely that the upcoming season will return to TV screens sometime around September to October 2022. Just like the prior seasons have been consistent with the yearly time schedule on the network.
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Release Date
After more than a one-month wait, the network has officially confirmed that the series will return this year by disclosing that NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 will be premiering new episodes on Sunday, October 9, 2022. The official Twitter handle of NCIS: Los Angeles also shared the update among its followers on June 23, 2022, quoting, “Put on cruise control — we’re coasting all the way to October 9 for Season 14 of .
According to Deadline, NCIS: Los Angeles is averaging 7.27 million viewers and is the most-watched scripted program in its time period Sunday at 10 PM. Season to date, it has amassed over 6 billion social media impressions. Hence, it is not a surprise that the network has decided to greenlight the series for another season as these factors make many major tv networks not lose any potential success from a long-running franchise any time soon.
“NCIS, one of the most popular and enduring series in the world, and fan-favorite NCIS: Los Angeles have been hugely successful on the CBS schedule for years,” said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment. “With the strong new addition of NCIS: Hawai’i, we are able to expand the strength of this formidable franchise across our schedule.”
Further adding, “We couldn’t be more excited to have all three talented casts and creative teams back to bring more compelling NCIS stories to viewers in the U.S. and around the globe.” As a result, the fans stand correct as now it is certain that the series will not be delayed for any minor reasons. The episodes will be released on time, as planned by the showrunners.
Moreover, in addition to producing all three NCIS series, CBS Studios is producing a local version of the brand for Australia, with NCIS: Sydney for Network 10 and Paramount+ Australia. Fans simply need to be patient with such additional updates, since they take time and are strategically pushed to entice people to tune in to watch the series and other franchises.
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Time Slot
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 seems to be staying in the time slot on Sunday at 10 p.m. So, it is unlikely that the timings for the upcoming season will be changed unless there are certain adjustments that the network will certainly notify the viewers. The series will be followed by the Monday premiere of NCIS Season 20 at 9 pm, and NCIS: Hawai’i Season 2 at 10 pm respectively.
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14 Cast Updates

Callen: NCIS Special Agent In Charge of the Office Of Special Projects, LL Cool J as Sam Hanna: NCIS Senior Special Agent and ex-Navy SEAL and Second in command of the Office Of Special Projects, along with Daniela Ruah and Caleb Castille are confirmed to return for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 14.

NCIS season 20 premiere date: How many episodes will we get in 2022?

While there is no firm premiere date as of yet, it is very-much clear that NCIS season 20 is going to be launching on CBS this fall.

Now that we’ve said that, there’s absolutely another fascinating question to ponder over here: How many episodes are going to be getting the rest of the year. Is there a lot to look forward to until we get around to the holiday season?

The good news is that with the way that CBS tends to release episodes, there’s a LOT of good stuff in the reasonably-near future. Provided that season 20 starts off near the end of September, we should be able to get nine or ten episodes in by mid-December, which is when the last installment of 2022 will air. We saw nine episodes last season before the holiday break; before the global health crisis kicked off, we had ten. We don’t imagine that things are going to change that much for season 20.

From this vantage point, the question we are more intrigued about is whether or not we’re going to get some epic holiday special this year. That didn’t happen in season 19 and we’d like to see that tradition return. After all, who doesn’t want to see how Alden Parker and Jessica Knight ring in the season? Because we have some new characters, there are more ways for it to stand out.

Hopefully, we will get a formal season 20 premiere date at some point over the next couple of weeks.

CBS Sets Fall Premiere Dates for FBI, Ghosts, NCIS, Young Sheldon and More

CBS is the third broadcast network (following Fox and ABC) to unveil its fall rollout plan, with premiere dates set for more than a dozen new and returning series.

The Monday-night sitcom block (consisting of The Neighborhood and Bob Hearts Abishola) officially kicks things off on Monday, Sept. 19, followed by the milestone 20th season of NCIS and Season 2 of NCIS: Hawai’i. The FBI Tuesday trifecta follows on Sept. 20, while Season 2 of Thursday-night breakout Ghosts arrives one week later, on Sept. 29, where it now leads out of Young Sheldon.

As previously reported, the Eye network is going with an all-reality Wednesday slate. But rather than have The Real Love Boat set sail at the end of the night (as was initially intended when the schedule was first released in May), the freshman competition series will instead be wedged between veterans Survivor (airing at its usual time, 8/7c) and The Amazing Race (now airing an hour later, at 10 pm).
