Two Killed in Stampede After #Rochester Concert Concertgoers panicked after a show on Sunday night by the Grammy-nominated rapper #GloRilla thinking shots had been fired. A stampede spurred by rumors of gunfire at a crowded arena on Sunday killed two people and left a third in critical condition after a show by the Grammy-nominated rapper #GloRilla in Rochester, N.Y., the police said.The stampede began after a performance by GlorRilla, the stage name of the Memphis-based rap artist #GloriaHallelujahWoods, just after 11 p.m. at the Main Street Armory, #ChiefDavidSmith of the #RochesterPoliceDepartment said in a news conference on Monday.โThere are some reports that shots were heard, causing the crowd to panic,โ said Chief Smith, adding that investigators had found no evidence of gunfire. โWe are hearing many reports of potential causes, including crowd size, shots fired, pepper spray and more. As we all remember when #Glorilla had a show in #OaklandCa and they had a business disagreement between Glorilla and her team and the promoters, whether she was booked to do a #HOSTING or #PERFORMANCE Her fans were so upset after she got on the mic letting the crowd know that she wasnโt paid to perform. Even though she tried to perform the fans wasnโt having it and proceeded to boo her. As they begin to exit the venue one of her fans was yelling, cursing and even threw a liquid substance (a drink) striking her and proceeded to spit. Following this incident.. Glorilla sent both of her bodyguards home relieving them of their duties.

The death of a Black man in a #Memphis jail after a fight with corrections officers was beat to death and has been classified as a #homicide, according to a just-released autopsy report. #GershunFreeman 33, died at the #ShelbyCountyJail in Memphis on October 5, 2022. The report, conducted by the county medical examiner and released Thursday, says Freeman โhad a cardiac arrestโ after the altercation, which ended in officers restraining him. CPR was initiated, but unsuccessful. Freeman was pronounced dead at the scene. @attorneycrump will be representing his family. The video began with Mr. Freeman in an isolation cell, naked, and it was said he was shouting at the camera that was in the cellโฆwhich had no sounds and couldnโt make out what he was saying, but he was very agitated about something, possibly having some sort of psychotic episode(history of psychosis). You see several officers come to his door and open it. And itโs not clear why they opened it, Freeman then ran out the sell. Officers arrived and appeared to try to apprehend him, striking him repeatedly with batons, kicks, fistsโฆ at least one officer struck him on the head with what appeared to be a pepper spray container and sprayed him with oil-based chemical irritants, the spray made Freemanโs body slippery (food on the floor not poop) and hard to restrain. A fistfight between two women turned deadly Monday, resulting in the fatal shooting of 26-year-old Riviera Beach woman.
Investigators said the dispute occurred just before 6:30 p.m. at Echo Lake Park in the 2000 Pinehurst Drive.
Officers later responded to a report of a woman shot and bleeding at the scene.
When police arrived, they found the victim, whose name has not been released, lying on the pavement in the parking lot of the park. She was pronounced dead by West Palm Beach Fire Rescue.
Investigators determined that a large crowd of people showed up at the park to witness a fight between the two women. Police said during the fight, the suspect, #JasmineNelson , 32, of West Palm Beach, had a handgun that she fired, striking the victim and instantly killing her.
Police spokesman Mike Jachles said Nelson fled after the shooting and later met detectives at a restaurant in the 4200 block of Okeechobee Blvd. near West Palm Beach.
Nelson was charged with one count of second-degree murder and was booked into the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Main Detention Center early Tuesday morning.
Police said their investigation continues and additional charges could be pending.
