YOUR VOTE DID IT!

This is a serious historic moment.

For those of you who voted Cape Independence Party on Monday 1st November 2021, your vote did it. For the first time in this country's history, the vision of Cape independence is now officially represented in the hallways of South African government.

This is no longer an imaginary fringe idea. Cape independence is now a respected and democratically represented opinion on the most serious levels of political discourse.

And there is more... For those who have been following the drama over the last few days, we have begun legal proceedings against the IEC following a serious number of missing CAPEXIT votes.

We are guaranteed our seat in government... However, we are currently a mere fraction away from achieving our 2nd seat in government (approximately 200 votes short).

We have confirmed photographic evidence of a significant number of votes on Results Slips that for some reason have not been awarded to us, and the official results for these Voting Stations is saying "0" zero votes.

We intend to take this to the Electoral Court, and potentially High Court, over the coming days to ensure that your valuable democratically chosen votes for Cape independence are counted!

We hope to provide exciting developments in this regard over the coming days.

****THE ATLANTIC SEABOARD CAN STILL BE SAVED - GAVIN FORD****

A fresh start is needed on the Atlantic Seaboard, but the next councillor in Ward 54 must be allowed to act independently of party political interests. This is the opinion of Gavin Ford, the Cape Party's prospective candidate in ward 54 in Cape Town.

"A lack of political will is causing decay on the streets of Sea Point and residents are reaching breaking point" says Gavin Ford, local representative of the Cape Party.

Ford criticized city authorities for not acting sooner to promote sensible programmes to deal with the Atlantic Seaboard's rampant homelessness.

"The city has been late to the party, and favoured political correctness and how it is perceived in the media, over fixing problems in this ward" says Ford.

Ford announced his intention to stand as a Candidate for the Cape Party in the upcoming Local Government Elections set to take place on 27th October.

Ward 54, (Sea Point, Camps Bay) has long been a DA stronghold but local residents have increasingly voiced concern about the direction of the ward.
