Bend Teacher arrested for having s*xual relations with a student.
Appalling.

LA PINE HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER ARRESTED FOR S*X ABUSE OF FORMER STUDENT

Location: 54000 block of Tamarack Rd, Bend

Arrested: Parker, Deborah, Age: 55, Bend, Oregon

Victim: Male, 17 years of age at the time of incident.

Charges: S*x Abuse II (8 counts)

In May 2020, the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the University of Oregon. The report was from subject wanting to report a teacher from La Pine High School having a s*xual relationship with a former student while he was attending La Pine High School.

Sheriff’s Office detectives were able to locate and interview the former student regarding the report. The former student disclosed multiple incidents of s*x abuse involving Parker while he was a minor student attending La Pine High School during the 2010-2011 school year.

Based on statements from the former student and witness information, detectives were granted a search warrant for Parker and her residence. Detectives were able to collect corroborating evidence and statements.

On May 29, 2020 Parker was contacted at her residence and taken into custody on the above mentioned charges. Parker was lodged in the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Jail.

The Sheriff’s Office would like to commend the reporting person and the former student for the courageous act of coming forward and sharing this information with law enforcement.

CHILD PO*******HY INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST OF EAGLE CREST MAN

Location: 1000 block of Golden Pheasant Dr, Redmond

Arrested: Born, Darwin C. Age: 88 Redmond, Oregon

Charges: Encouraging Child S*x Abuse I (1 count) and Encouraging Child S*x Abuse II (9 counts).

In December 2019, detectives with the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation after receiving a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) regarding the uploading of images of child po*******hy from a residence in Deschutes County.

Detectives were able to determine through their investigation the images were uploaded at the residence belonging to Darwin Born in the 1000 block of Golden Pheasant Dr. in Eagle Crest.

In February, 2020 detectives served a search warrant at Born’s residence and seized multiple electronic devices. Born and other occupants of the residence were also interviewed at that time. The electronic devices were later analyzed and numerous photographs of child s*x abuse were discovered on a computer belonging to Born.

On May 27, 2020 Born was interviewed again and ultimately lodged in the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Jail for the above mentioned charges.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force is a national network of 61 coordinated task forces representing over 4,500 federal, state, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.

In the past 12 months, tips from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has resulted in four arrests by the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office for the possession and distribution of child po*******hy.

A 48 year old man from Portland Oregon drives to a minors house in Prineville Oregon. This video is my confrontation.
While I was recording this video the Prineville Police spotted me and this Pe*****le at 2 A.M. in a dark parking lot connected to my old drive way
I was arrested on scene and the predator got to drive off free. I was seen as the aggressor because I was armed and was wearing body armor so I was detained while he was questioned. The Pe*****le drove home that night while i Slept with the Police.
After everything was layed out the Prineville Police REFUSED to pursue this ra**st and dropped my charges or menacing and disorderly conduct. DISGUSTING
THIS WILL NOT STOP WITHOUT POLICE INTERVENTION.

Location: Wildwing Rd. Sisters, OR

Arrested: Wills, Michael Age: 44 Sisters, Oregon

Charges: Encouraging Child S*x Abuse 1st Degree, 11 counts; Encouraging Child S*x Abuse 2nd Degree, 11 counts.

For approximately the past six months, detectives with the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office have been investigating Michal Wills. The detectives division received a tip from Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) regarding Michael Wills possibly possessing and distributing child po*******hy. During the investigation detectives were able to confirm Wills was the person involved.

On January 14, 2020 detectives contacted Wills at his residence. Wills was interviewed, and a search warrant was later served at his residence. During the search warrant detectives seized various electronic devices belonging to Wills. A search warrant to analyze the electronic devices was later granted, and a forensic examination of the electronic devices revealed Wills was in possession of images of child po*******hy.

Wills was contacted again on January 21, 2020 and interviewed regarding the evidence located on his electronic devices. It was learned during the investigation that Wills possessed and distributed s*xually explicit images of children. Wills was arrested and lodged in the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office adult jail on the above mentioned charges.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Program is a national network of 61 coordinated task forces representing over 4,500 federal, state, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies.

This investigation is ongoing and more charges are possible.

DANGERS OF DATING APPS.

Most of the men and women I meet with are from dating apps. Tinder, Grindr, Skout, yubo, kik, on and on. There are countless apps that will come up in the app store if you search up the word "Friends".
These apps are dangerous and advertised to our teenagers.

I am often asked what to do. I feel communication is the most important when protecting your child online. A person can only effect them over the internet if they allow it.
Blocking, reporting is important.
It is up to you to keep your child informed and safe.

Online Predators aren't distant. They are in our own town and id be willing to bet I could catch one in nearly any town. We need to stop treating this issue like a distant one that isn't in our priorities.
