Yesterday, cigal sharmake of the larger Sharmake held a unity-based symposium, where parts of cigal sharmake that were divided during the 2022 general election, were brought on one table, discussion at length brought forward.
The community elders of cigal sharmake assured that they should burry the hatchet between the community,and unity is brought forward, thus the slogan "Cigaal sharmake power".

I am utterly disappointed by the recent move made by the Mandera County Speaker, Hon Omar Maalim Mohamed. It has been reported that he has hired five members of his own family in the new County government jobs, leaving many others struggling to find employment. This is a deplorable act that reeks of nepotism and favoritism.

It is unacceptable for a public servant to misuse their power in such a manner. As a leader, Hon Omar Maalim Mohamed has a responsibility to ensure that the people he serves are given equal opportunities regardless of their tribal affiliations. Instead, he has chosen to favor his own family members, which is a clear indication of his tribalistic tendencies.

His actions are not only unethical but also go against the fundamental principles of fairness and justice. It is crucial for our leaders to avoid such practices, which compromise the integrity of our institutions.

I call upon the public to speak out against the actions taken by the Mandera County Speaker. We must hold our leaders accountable and demand that they prioritize the welfare of all citizens. We cannot allow tribalism and nepotism to take root in our society as they are detrimental to our progress as a nation.

In conclusion, Hon Omar Maalim Mohamed must be called out for his unacceptable actions. He must be held accountable for his decisions and should be compelled to rectify the situation immediately. We cannot afford to condone such behaviors from our leaders if we are to build a just and equitable society.

Kenya-Somalia joint border security briefing:

Kenya and Somalia have agreed on re-opening the three border points between the two countries after 12 years of closure over insecurity and terror threats.
The possibilities of re-opening of kenya-somalia border, will be effective from today 15th may 2023.
As scheduled, in the next 30 days,
The first border point mandera-bula Hawa will be opened to allow free movement.
In the next 60 days, the second border point liboi- dhobley, in Garissa will be opened.
In the next 90 days kiunga-raskamboni in lamu county will be opened.

On 9th august 2022 lafey sub-county elected a persistent, knowledgeable and upto the task leader, who has the interest of his electorates at heart.
Its within 8month, the mheshimiwa is almost fulfilling 20% of his pledges.
The office registration of birth and death certificates was indeed tiresome and tedious, lafey residents used to travel all the way to mandera town, today the mheshimiwa eased, the access of those documentations,by establishing an office at lafey.
This will be the first living legacy, that hon Mohamed Abdikheir will be remembered for.
Other legacies such as tarmacking of road lafey-fino- Arabia road, operationalizing the technical and vacational trainings and other promises that the mheshimiwa took during the campaigns will be fulfilled during his time- frame.
Rest assured that, with hon Mohamed Abdikheir, lafey sub-county will be transformed undoubtedly.
Indeed a new Dawn for lafey.

Hon Abdi mude Ibrahim is a medical doctor by profession. He was the second member of Parliament for lafey since the inception of devolution.
Hon Abdi mude Ibrahim was development- oriented whose leadership is remarkable to date and his leadership pragmatism has been missed for the last 7 month of the current regime.
Hon Abdi mude Ibrahim upheaved various sectors, the sector of education,where he bulit various schoosl, recruited skilled teachers and equality of bursary disbursement was one of his top priorities.
Hon Abdi mude Ibrahim left of a living Legacy that will remain indelible imprints in the hearts of many.

Today, the Senate approved the Equalization Fund Appropriation Bill, 2023.

Mandera County will receive Ksh. 1,013,291,858 for the development expenses including provision of basic services such as Water, roads, health facilities and Electricity.

The benefiting constituencies are as follows:

1 Banisa Constituency
2 Lafey Constituency
3 Mandera East
4 Mandera North
5 Mandera South
6 Mandera West.

Hope the funds will not drain to the pocket of the few,as the norm!

Adolla Community have unanimously endorsed Barre Maalim Hassan, the brother of the late Banissa MP as the community's flagbearer in the Banissa Constituency Parliamentary By-Election. In a ceremony that took place in a Nairobi Hotel, Mr Barre was also crowned as the leader of Abtugay Nation. The decision has now been fowarded to the larger Garre community for further deliberations and approvals, as Banissa Constituency By-Election draws closer.

Yesteryears ,rate of jobless youth has reached a notch higher.
It's great move for the mheshimiwa to look for such positions that will atleast the reduce the number.

Here is pastor Paul Mackenzie in Shakahola forest,Kilifi County,who promised his Christian brothers and sisters a good life and persuaded them to join the cult to meet their maker (god), instructed them to forward all their wealth to him.
The pastor began this chronicle in 2003 , where he was detained in 2017 and released,therein resuming his story.
The pastor cajoled his Christian brothers and sister to fast 40days consecutive without eating and drinking,for their sin to be erased and meet their creator.
Police officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation homicide unit have exhumed 73bodies from shallow graves in the vast 800-acre Shakahola Forest, in the last four days.
The detectives also rescued an old mother who was at the brink of death, who later refused to eat and drink.
The death toll graph is escalating unexpectedly and with speed.

Let me take time to reply to these sleepyheads. It seems those saying the bursary was not based on merits or was biased have not applied at all. what if the bursary was distributed on tribal affiliations, as you claim, don't you have a clan that represented you?? What if your own clan have ignored you to give your deserving shares, will you come to Facebook and badmouth the mheshimiwa as if he is ur son??
Go back to your people who mishandled your shares like a jigsaw puzzle and interrogate them succinctly, where your shares has drained to.

Mheshimiwa Mandera east MP has responded to the current Mishaps pertaining the overfloods and it's destruction. The mheshimiwa further reminded the residents to be thankful,as the rainfall is the one of Allah's bounties and they should show endurance, perseverance and patience to the side effects showcased by the rain. The governor and the MP are working round the clock to make sure the affected 9 locations in mandera east are given the necessary dire reinforcement needed within no time.
