This isn't a status I wanted to make, but due to events beyond our control and complications with the venue, Helloween 2023 is no longer happening. This isn't something we wanted to do, but we will be back next year for an even bigger show. I appreciate every band that agreed to come play more than I can say and will have them in the Boro at some point. First show we host will happen next year for sure. We appreciate everyone that showed interest in this event and we will see you all soon. So go catch a show this weekend and enjoy the Halloween holiday. See you all soon ❤️

Helloween 2023 is this weekend! Just wanting to post some rules for the venue to ensure we can have shows again there in the future.

- The church was built in 1899 and the glass is older than the building. Please don't break it.

- Alcohol will be sold by the venue owner. YOU MUST HAVE AN ID AND BE 21+ TO PURCHASE. NO EXCEPTIONS. We don't want to get in any legal trouble and we don't want the venue owner to get in trouble.

- Wear a costume. It's a Halloween party, but please make sure you're not exposing yourself. It's an all ages show and there could be minors there.

- Moshing is allowed and encouraged but be cautious of the people around you.

- If someone falls, PICK THEM UP. We don't want people getting injured.

- Have fun. It's going to be a fun night.

I've had people ask me "why Middlesboro?" when putting together Helloween 2023. What a lot of people don't realize is the scene that Middlesboro once had. Local bands like Indiana and Madisyn paved the way for shows in this small city 15+ years ago. Here's a clip I found from 2007 at a show here in Middlesboro. Enjoy this throwback!
