We're excited to bring you Downgrooves with his new track Discovery, for our sixteenth release.
The original is a sublime breaks number with a stunning euphoric breakdown. Eric has really upped his game with this one, a track thats sure to catch many a fan's listening pleasure across the musical spectrum. Everything seems to work so well with this track, with a beautiful vocal that sits well in the mix under a cascade of wondrous soothing elements. The chord progression is a dream, then the piano pierces the mind before a drop where anything goes and the mind blows.
Paul Hamilton delivers the first of a triple power prog remix pack. A bustling, marauding impenetrable bass carries us through to a sweet soft break where it floats and soothes before landing back down to earth for one final mission.
Matt Black's remix steams in like a relentless machine, adding layers until we hear the original elements shining through like a sunrise on a tropical island. During the break the dry lead announces itself until the cutoff opens more, and with the vocal gorgeously assisting the track we are launched into prog heaven.
Robin Thurston completes the Ep with a subtle beauty, consisting of a sweet rhythm forged with sub bass nirvana. Robin brings in the keys to add a mellow but driving progressive state. As we enter the break the keys continue with the swirling harmonies, until the drop when the track goes into full flow. The remix opens up beautifully with many elements working in tandem completing a sensational track.
An absolutely monumental release with four tracks worthy of much acclaim.
