May 10, 1957, John Ritchie, better known as Sid Vicious and the bassist for the S*x Pistols, was born. He was arrested for the death of his then girlfriend Nancy Spungen, but died of a he**in overdoes while out on bail before going to trial. He is still often considered the epitome of punk.

May 10, 1965, The Rolling Stones recorded a version of '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction' in Chicago with Brian Jones on harmonica. They re-recorded the song two days later without it.
