While Tamil being the official language of the state, many activists have raised voice against the slow death of the language

among the younger generation and the influence of the western culture. However, an equal number of youths continuously report concerns on adapting Tamil as a complete driving force mainly because English continues to dominate the educational and employment opportunities in the country. This was one of the key reasons for what we thought of creating a common platform which will bind the values of Tamil language and culture to the modern youths.
