After the T20 World Cup, the global cricket test season has officially begun. The World Test Championship final, which is scheduled to take place at the Oval in London the following year, is escalating.

After losing the first two matches of a three-match series against a touring England team, Pakistan missed out on the chance to compete in the WTC final. Ben Stokes' England have thwarted Pakistan's attempts to maintain their chances ahead of the domestic season by defeating them in Rawalpindi and Multan and concluding the series with a Test remaining in Karachi.

Due to Pakistan's defeat in Multan, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and India will compete for a spot in the WTC final.

This year, Pakistan's brain drain situation has worsened as more than 750,000 educated youth chose to look for work overseas, primarily due to the country's uncertain economic and political climate and shrinking job opportunities.

Documents show that in 2022, 765,000 Pakistanis left for other countries, nearly triple the 225,000 who left in 2021 and the 288,000 who left in 2020. The data for this year also included 92,000 professionals with advanced degrees, including doctors, engineers, experts in information technology, and accountants.

The Bureau of Emigration claims that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) accounted for the vast majority of emigrants' destinations. Romania appeared to be Pakistani travelers' top choice among European destinations.

On Monday, the price of gold in Pakistan reached a record high of Rs169,650 per tola as investors continued to seek safety in the safe-haven metal amid growing worries that the country's economy will continue to deteriorate.

According to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), gold prices increased by Rs2,350 per tola and Rs2,016 per 10 grams to reach all-time highs of Rs169,650 and Rs145,448, respectively.

After registering a gain of Rs4,000, or 2.49 percent, during the week ending December 10, gold, which has been continuously touching new peaks for the past few days, closed at Rs167,300 per tola.

Monday, the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) made the announcement that consumers in Sindh will be able to get gas under a new load management plan from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., for a total of eight hours.
The official from the SSGC stated that the gas supply would not be completely cut off for the remainder of the day. He added that, in accordance with government orders, the SSGC will guarantee supply within the aforementioned eight hours.
As Karachi's gas crisis worsened last month, the SSGC stopped supplying its industries with gas from November 15 to February 28. The move was made by the gas supply company in an effort to give domestic and commercial customers in Sindh and Balochistan priority and meet their needs.
Additionally, it should be noted that the gas shortage has forced the closure of all CNG stations in Sindh for two and a half months. The gas organization's notification was dismissed by businesses which said the stop in sup

Abrar Ahmed, a mysterious Pakistani spinner, made his Test debut against England in Multan and had an outstanding game with match stats of 11-234.

This is the second-best performance overall, behind Mohammad Zahid's 11-130 against New Zealand in 1996, and the best match statistics for a Pakistani spinner making his Test debut.

Abrar Ahmed, then 15 years old, insisted his friends stop labelling him a "superstar" after capturing five wickets with his alluring spin in a club match in Pakistan's coastal city of Karachi.

Pakistan defeated England for 281 in their first innings on Friday in Multan after defeating them for 7-114 on his Test debut nine years prior. Pakistan was able to dismiss England in their opening innings as a result of this.
