Stevens Point, WI… where I made some of the best memories and created lifelong friendships. Grateful for the opportunity to share some Hmong music and good vibes with the community on August 15, 2024.
Whoa... this is fun! Listen to "Thaum Koj Nrog Kuv" with Charles Vang mixed in too.
What song do you want to hear me add harmonies to next?
Was supposed to play with music equipment tonight, but ended up playing with lighting equipment instead 😆
Each day, we're a little older and a little different from who we were yesterday. I’m just finally starting to realize that it’s so important to make a conscious effort to capture photos of myself, to freeze moments in time that remind me who I was at different points in my life.
Here’s one of my favorite unedited photos of myself from a photoshoot with Houa Vang in 2022. 🤗🖤
Ohh the memories 😌 Love this short video captured by Xai from our box seats. I'm such a fan girl of everyone on stage that I was enjoying this view from my seat. It wasn't until almost halfway through the song that I realized I was supposed to be down there too lol. I had to quickly put my heels on and run down a flight of dark stairs. Barely made it!
Oy. At the rate I’m sharing photos, I’m gonna be posting about this particular weekend for a whole year—apologies! 🤗
This was during the team meet & greet at Red Sun Cafe on Feb 9. I didn’t get to chat with these ladies until the very end since I didn’t want to interrupt their convos with everyone. Such little time together, but love how quickly we bonded.
𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 Pat’s 𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙖 𝙡𝙤𝙡 !
𝗣𝗔𝗧: Okay, Michelle and I are going to be rockstars standing back to back, and Sushi, you’re gonna go low and spread your legs!
𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗛𝗜: Huh?! You’re gonna have to show me!
𝗠𝗘: Are we being serious or smiling?
𝗣𝗔𝗧: Be serious!!
📸😂🤣
I woke up craving sweets this morning. Makes me want to turn back time to eat more of this cake made by Zoua’s Treats. I almost didn’t get any, but huge thanks to David for harvesting my head and surprising me with a slice right before I went on stage… that was funny 😆
ME: Hey, do you guys want to sit or stand when we perform?
LC: Let’s bring your bench. We can sit like this…
😅🤣🙄🤦🏻♀️ I’m very glad they decided to stand.
Haha! I loved spending time with these three ladies. I am immensely thankful for Hlee Vang from Luxe Lash & Beauty Studio who did my makeup and hair. Thank you, Hlee! 🤍
We all love SuddenRush and it was so much fun listening to their guesses. 😅
LC and I snuck in one more practice session on Friday night. Thanks so much to the general manager at Drury Plaza Hotel Milwaukee Downtown for allowing us to use their Great Lakes Ballroom at no cost for a few hours. Clint at the frontdesk said the GM was joking that we should just practice in the lobby to serenade guests 😅
Lately I’ve been saying that it’s hard for me to find the right words to say. I think that’s just because the last thing I want is to come off as boasting; therefore, I’d rather keep all of my thoughts to myself to avoid judgement. But no, I’m going to be vulnerable and share what’s on my mind right now. I’m tired of neglecting these roller coaster of emotions.
When I saw this photo of me performing at The Riverside Theater, I froze a little bit. This image looks exactly like what little kid Michelle kept dreaming of—to perform her music in front of huge crowds. Why do I feel embarrassed to admit that? 🫣
To some people, I’m just a random opener who needs to hurry it up because people want to see the bigger acts. Some people won’t care about me, but I should care about me. If I just love the little kid in me more, I’ll only continue making my wildest dreams come true.
I am so grateful for those who support my music and like what I put out. I am also so grateful for the ones who continue to book me for shows even though I have only released one song so far. I’ll try harder to keep on making music so I get to live my little kid dream harder.
Thanks for reading. 🤍

Happy Valentine’s Day to my girl crush Pat Her! We had so much fun together this night with the very little time we had.
Hopeful for more fun times and longer conversations in the future. ✨💛
Here’s what we talked about as soon as we finished performing. Thanks to Xai for being so thoughtful and recording this moment for memories.
A part of me wanted to immediately criticize myself, but that quickly disappeared once we talked about how much we truly enjoyed our time up on that stage. Good times. 🤍
❤️❤️🔥 Wow. Just Wow. ❤️🔥❤️
I had such a great time sharing the stage with LC (Long Xiong & Charles Vang) at Thai Sounders’ concert in Milwaukee. Performing is so much more fun for me when I get to collaborate with others who love music as much as I do.
Throughout the night, people would ask me how we all know each other. Our friendship is still pretty fresh, so sometimes it got tricky to explain. We all lived in the same city at one Point (pun intended), and we were all aware that we share the same passion—music. I really appreciate their artistry, and thought they’d be the perfect pair to collab with me on that stage, especially in our home state. I’m so glad the team gave us a chance to collaborate… it was so much fun.
🤍Please listen to one of my favorite songs by LC: https://youtu.be/xz8RUlSCbKg?si=3RrhONTmRjP2LVVE
I still can’t seem to find the right words to express my sincere gratitude for this incredible experience. I plan to share some photos and videos sporadically, hoping that it will aid me in fully soaking things in.

It has been a fun musical journey so far. Eager to release music this year, and I’m so grateful for my followers who have been patiently waiting—thank you!
✨I’ll be stepping on stage again very soon. Can you guess where I’ll be performing?✨

Say you just found this CD. What songs would be on it?
Performing “Once In a Lifetime” with Long Xiong at Eau Claire HmongFest on June 17, 2023. Original song is by Gregorian, and the Hmong lyrics are by Unique 3.
I love doing acoustic performances. Really liked how crisp and clear the sound was outside. Anyone else love this song? 🤍
Reflecting back on my year, and I realized that I never really shared videos of my performances. Should I share some of my favorites?

Sometimes when I listen to music, I hear harmonies that aren’t even a part of the song. It’s fun to record what plays in my head and bring it to life. This is what I hear whenever I listen to Thaum Koj Nrog Kuv by Paradise. Sounds like a duet 😄 #hmong #hmongartist #hmongreels #musicislife #harmonies

One last practice session before stepping on stage at The Riverside Theater/Pabst Theater Group to open for Thai Sounders. Charles Vang & Long Xiong (LC) warming up their vocals with the song “Maiv” by The Sounders before we hit the stage to open for Thai Sounders. Will you please tag a “Mai” you know in the comments? I want to know what Mai did. 😅 #TheSounders #ThaiSounders #hmongreels #hmongmusic #hmongartist #hmong #hmoob #ThaiSoundersMke
Why did I choose LC to accompany me at the Thai Sounders concert in Milwaukee? Because just LOOK & LISTEN to this! I was doing my hair in the green room and heard Maiv by The Sounders playing. I ran out to the stairwell and it was Charles and Long warming up their vocals. I love these two like my brothers. In fact, they made me miss my brother all weekend. My brother’s name is Chong. I kept calling them “Chong” on accident because, well, 𝗖𝗵arles + L𝗼𝗻𝗴 = Chong. #thaisounders #hmongartist #hmongreels #hmongmusic
