In light of our distance this semester, the Mark will be trying out a new publication style: The Mark Blog! We hope that this will foster dialogue and community during these isolated times. You can find the blog here: https://themarkmagazine.blogspot.com/

We are taking submissions!
Because of our new online format, we will be publishing on a rolling basis, which means the sooner you send us your work, the sooner it will get published! The Mark is seeking submissions for it’s Fall 2020 issue! This year the Masthead is putting together one large digital issue for the semester. We are seeking submissions of journalistic pieces, visual art, poetry, short stories, crosswords, cartoons, satire, and much more! If you don't have an idea about what you want to submit, below are some story ideas that need writers. All submissions must be sent to [email protected] by October 30th. Please shoot us an email with any questions or if you intend to write any of the stories below. Happy block two!

Stories:
-Riverside hub/ community
-How to build Quest community 'online'
-What are people doing who are NOT enrolled? Gap year/ semester
-First year perspective, what it is like to enter Quest
-Summer 2020 'Quarantine stories'
-unemployment staff/ reduced wages
-George's roadtrip/ semester off?
-Transfer perspectives (to Prescott, other BC schools, etc)
