In this very special episode, Alexander stayed within The Netherlands to have a conversation with Marc Verburg. Marc is a single gay man of 53 years old who wrote and published a very controversial novel, called VERNEUKT, what stands for FU**ED UP! The book tells us a part of his life where drugs, s*x, addiction, and a lot of sleepless nights (literally) are centralized. On one hand his ex-partner became addicted to drugs and s*x, but on the other hand, it seemed like that Marc became addicted to his ex-partner and his relationship. In today’s episode Alexander and Marc are zooming in on the addiction towards a partner or relationship. The main question of today will be “How to end a dysfunctional relationship which is unfolding in an addiction and how to prevent yourself the next time". To answer this question several sub-questions will be answered, such as at which point is a relationship becoming dysfunctional, why are we pulling people towards us, who are actually pushing us away, what is addiction and how to focus on yourself again?

In this first episode, Alexander is diving into the subject with Michael Dilorio; Gay Life and Wellness Coach from Toronto, Canada.
