Life has a way of throwing us curveballs that make us hit the brakes and reassess everything. Earlier this week, I experienced a traumatic brain injury (TBI) that turned my world upside down. It's been hard to slow down and I’m on the road to recovery, but I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible support I've received from family, friends, and even those I've connected with here. The messages of support in my DM is so much I can’t reply to you all but know I saw an appreciate every one of them! ❤️
As I navigate this healing process, I'm reminded that sometimes life forces us to slow down, giving us the chance to truly appreciate every step we take (except the slippery ones on the train 😑) I'm taking things one day at a time, and while the journey may be slower than I'm used to, I'll be back in action soon, with lots of fun content to share! We have so much in the works! 🧑🍳

Can we just talk about what an amazing day we had this week? The kids have been patiently waiting for their new Dino Seas experience to open and when I told them it was here they flipped! The day was filled with SO much fun. We pet rays, saw a sea lion show, played with SO many interactive exhibits, saw 4-D movies, whales, fish and had our first ever VR experience! Not to mention saw a lot of cute playful penguins. 🥰🥰 there is SO much to do up there right now- don’t miss out this summer! Thanks so much for having us !! 🦈

Have you heard the news? My favorite little local shop has expanded their space and wares this year by launching .
What I’ve admired most about getting to know the ladies behind Vintathro- is how dedicated they are to their craft and how hardworking they are. I practically dove through the front doors of the shop when they invited me and other local artists to help celebrate their new space!
The idea behind the project I’ve been working on with them is to offer a new perspective and style to the product they already had! I spend nearly 365 a year 8+ hours a day on the phone with .
Currently residing MANY states away from me- when I was in the midst of my pre-casting, and stressed about who would come be my “support person”, on this show she without hesitation said “well I’ll drive up.” Which I did not expect but she did not disappoint. ❤️❤️ love you boo (and dad) for going out of your comfort zones and coming on this old ride with me:.
Thank you for this incredible experience that I never in a life time dreamed I would have or thought I’d have the “chops” to come near to. I still tonight can’t believe it’s real and happened. A true dream come true.
Thanks for coming because if you didn’t your owe me a lot in therapy pay back. 🤣😝 in fact we had a viewing party tonight that he cooked most of the signature plate for because I sliced myself with a microplane within 5 minutes . 😑 nothing new here 😂

If you picked up the epic November CT you might see a familiar face! I had such a great time procuring these wreaths with and shooting them myself (on a very cold porch I might add 😂).
My neighbor launched her wreaths at the stand this weekend!

My big girl graduated from Kindergarten today 🥲 she was awarded a special award for “always being a good friend”. I’m so proud of my little beanie and how much she’s accomplished her first year of school! Congrats Rowan. 🥳🥳

Something really cool and special is in North Haven. has its grand opening tomorrow, Saturday June 4th but has been quietly causing buzz around the southern CT bar scene. A few people have mentioned it as a great spot to enjoy some home brewed wines and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I was able to sneak in a few weeks ago and had a great time.
Imagine a brewery but for Wine. There’s no sweeping landscapes but there’s a great patio and a knowledgeable owner, Ray, who is making some incredibly delicious wines, ciders and infusions with grapes from all over the world.

Not sure what to make for Easter yet? Let's revist my ever so favorite- italian carrot cake. Almond flour keeps it moist and what I do love the most about it? Instead of frosting this cake (stressful and never a good outcome in my kitchen) you just put a dallop of fluffy mascapone frosting on top which has a hint of orange zest! YUM 🥕🐰
