"They don't"...
At school they dont tell you...
Of the moon and its phases,
The earth and it's cycles,
They didn't tell you about death
As birth,
They didn’t tell you sexuality
Like a holy s**t,
They didn’t tell you bout the body
as a temple of emotions.
They told you to adapt,
To fit you in,
They told you to sit down
Always at the same spot,
They told you to shut up
And listen to their only point of view,
Study until you drop your nose.
From taking a leaf out,
Like a menace!
At school, no one ever mentioned
The power of nature,
No One Has Ever Explained
The power of your thoughts,
No one has ever shared
Your connection to the Universe.
With this method that wants us all the same,
We are wolves christened from dogs.
I want to be able to howl at the moon.
Without calling me crazy
I want to kiss the trees
Without being called wacky,
I want to be able to heal my Being
Don't tell me weird!
Aint got nobody to convince
I just want to share and pass it on
And giving away ...
I offer you my humble knowledge,
I offer you my joy,
I offer you my Love
Be free and be creative
Even if it bothers, be YOU!
