Today is the seventh anniversary of my double-lung transplant. Wow. I'm so happy to be alive. I wake up every day and say, "I will live this day in joy and gratitude." Sometimes, it's difficult to keep that resolve, but when I do get down, I remember how bad it really could be. Just saying those words out loud--I will live this day in joy and gratitude--Lifts my spirits. I hope you all can live each day in joy and gratitued.

Paul and I are in Chicago getting ready for C2E2, which begins tomorrow. If you're coming, please stop by Booth SP4 and say hello. I won't be there tomorrow, but Kelly Swails (Dragons by the Yard) and I (Gates of Midnight) will be there signing on Saturday. And let me just say that the weather in Chicago is beautiful! So much better than last year when we were faced with icy rain and bitter winds. The picture below is from C2E2 before my lung transplant. My hair was a lot darker then!!!

I took an online course from Christina Hills on building your own website using Word Press. And I love how it came out. I'm going to put the link in the comments. Please, let me know what you think. I can't believe I was able to do this myself.
